    This was a PS+ game in December 2022 so check to see that you've claimed it before you buy it.

      Cancelled PS+ when they hiked the price and haven't looked back. Purchased this Mass Effect collection for $15 on another deal. Now I actually own it for a fraction of the price of PS+. Haven't seen a single free game on PS+ since I cancelled that I regret not being able to claim. Rocket League and Fortnite still work perfect online and that's all I really play with friends anyway.

      Thanks! I went and looked in my library but it must have been one of those months where I forgot to claim. Regardless after seeing all the pages of games I haven't played I think I will skip this deal.

    Purchased both ME 1 & 2 upon release.

    Didn’t get very far in 1
    2 has the distinct privilege of being one of the few games that I purchased but never undid the wrapping (Fifa 11, Assassins Creed II among others).

    Do I dare purchase this and add to my pile of shame ?

        Combination of things, I think I was expecting more "KOTOR" style game play.
        If I played it today my opinion MIGHT differ - especially potentially playing it along with a youtube walkthrough as a 'guide' (I also had the game guide book back in the day). I purchased a lot of games most months back then so I moved on to other titles.

      Yes, they are stand alone games if you want them to be. You can also import previous saves so it remembers which major decisions you made.

      You could get away with not playing 1, its quite dated and clunky in some ways, but I wouldn’t skip 2, it’s the best game of the series.
