  • Connected airfryer lmao…. What a joke

    • +2

I had one of the very first Phillips air fryers and the fan and the finishing beep could be heard throughout the house. It stopped working recently and the new Phillips I got is so quiet that you have to be standing right next to it. First World problem solved with an app I guess….

My one is not the connected version though - an app for an air fryer? No thanks…. That said I am sure someone here on ozb might have a sensible use-case for an app.

  • Does it have AI?

  • Bing Lee on eBay has it for the same price .. any ebay or cashrewards discounts ?

  • Anyone know why the non wifi version (HD9742/93) is selling for $100 or so more? Any key differences?

    • where is this for $100?

      • Sorry to clarify, the HD9742/93 on amazon is $380 odd.. same capacity, no wifi.. is it the same otherwise?

        • The deal is 1.4kg or 7.2L @ 2000W

          HD9742/93 is model is 0.8kg or 4.1L @ 1500w

          • @humdingaling: Ahhh I must be referring to the Phillips Premium XXL as a comparison.. Possibly the older model, prior to a wifi capability

            • @seanmilt: Did some review reading and looks as though the transition from the OG Premium XXL (No wifi), the updated 1.4kg here doesn't have the rails etc that supports the weight of the basket etc without needing to put the hot basket onto your bench etc

  • It's surprising that no one has posted on OzBargain about BIG W selling the Philips XXL for $89. I heard about it from a friend, and it's now out of stock in most areas.

    • you mean the XL with 700+ upvotes and 31000 clicks?

i actually found it via google ads first instead of ozbargain but was already sold out by that point
