    I had one of the very first Phillips air fryers and the fan and the finishing beep could be heard throughout the house. It stopped working recently and the new Phillips I got is so quiet that you have to be standing right next to it. First World problem solved with an app I guess….

    My one is not the connected version though - an app for an air fryer? No thanks…. That said I am sure someone here on ozb might have a sensible use-case for an app.

      Sorry to clarify, the HD9742/93 on amazon is $380 odd.. same capacity, no wifi.. is it the same otherwise?

            @seanmilt: Did some review reading and looks as though the transition from the OG Premium XXL (No wifi), the updated 1.4kg here doesn't have the rails etc that supports the weight of the basket etc without needing to put the hot basket onto your bench etc
