I've been wanting to try V60 coffee and found this. Model is VKBR-120HS, made in Japan and it also works with induction stove-tops.
It was $44.75 in 2020: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/551733

I made it out, back to flat whites, there's still hope for all of us. Although now I'm spending money on milk and drinking more calories :(
I'm sure OP will want something like this after a month or two with Hario Buono :p
Won't be long until OP starts looking at high end hand grinder
Good price
I have this.
Gooseneck is also useful when brewing tea as well.
This also works for induction btw.
When using this, the trick to know when it's boiling is to simply wait for the lid to become loose and starts rattling
I love this kettle, still using mine almost everyday since purchased it 3 years ago!
Have the smaller version of this, perfect for gas cooktops
It's so ugly though
Get the copper one: https://amzn.asia/d/djZR5Lk
I have this. It's great. Works on my induciton hob.
We have this one, too and I kinda prefer it. It feels just as good, no signs of any rust or issues but you get temperature control:

I got one of these before (not the same brand though) with a few friends in the past. The thermometers that they came with varied wildly unfortunately.
But it's easy to find replacement thermometers on Aliexpress that have a thread on the shaft, allowing you to screw it into the lid.
I'm looking for an induction kettle.
Should I go for it?
Does it whistle when boiled?
Doesn't whistle.
Doesn’t whistle but the lid starts rattling - you won’t miss it unless you have noise cancelling headphones in
I see this is the 800 ml not the 1.2 L?
Forget it, it is just a general description.
The manual states it has a "practical capacity" of 800ml, I'm guessing if you fill to 1.2L it will overflow when boiling.
Good luck with the rabbit hole.
