  This is a decent deal, quite a nice merry-go-round from some historic fair transplanted into the dreary old centre of City Walk they've been gradually improving.

  The ACT just had an election (meaning they don't need to buy votes - this will see them through to 27 straight years of Labor in charge of the ACT), had months of free transport until recently, and has now offered free public transport every Friday ongoing.

  This freebie is just a nice idea by whichever bureaucrat had enough money in their budget to pay the carny operators. Good on them for thinking of this.

  Had a few rides today. They really need to chuck a few of the city walk locals in a van and get rid of them. Throwing VB stubbies, stripping down stolen bikes, fighting, yelling… all within about 15m of the merry go round during the middle of the day.
  My kids were wincing and clinging to me instead of enjoying the ride.
