    Been debating between this, roborock flexi lite or floor one s5.

    Any comments?

      Lite is 290 at Costco

    • @abs898 have a few comments below which may help you.

      The Roborock seems to get awful reviews for both short product lives and extremly poor post sale customer support. Further, this model and the Tineco models seem to be better reviewed which may help you make a more considered buy sight unseen. I'd personally avoid Roborock for this segment at the minute but YMMV.

      • That's very helpful. I have first hand experience with roborock, dyad died!

    • S5 - plenty of comparisons online

    Yes have been as well between tinecos or bissells or this one for wet dry cleaning options.

    @abs898 @Mahip

    Have spent the day researching wet dry stick vacuums which sit in this segment in Australia, other readily accessible from abroad, Choice articles, Vacuum Wars Youtube and equivilant channels.

    A difficult product segment to research because most retailers carry region specific model variants.

    I short listed this model and the Tineco Floor One S5 Smart (note Tineco owned by EcoVacs for those interested). Both are 33% off list price at Amazon for Black Friday representing great discounts compared to retail sitting at $399 each.

    I bought this model today. This was primarily due to:
    - the internals being the same as the more expensive H12 Pro at $100 more for Black Friday sales but usually $749;
    - better battery;
    - lighter;
    - dual roller which sit closer to the ground meaning less passes to clean;
    - self propelling;
    - easier to select between vacuum settings without needing to rely on the 'smart sensor' functions the Tineco relys on which may not suit some spills or stains if the sensor incorrectly reads the level of soiling of the area;
    - Self cleaning station with forward and reverse head cleaning function;
    - Tineco model having been superseded by the Tineco Floor One S5 Smart 2.

    Bear in mind the Tineco has slightly more power, but this is regulated by the smart sense technology which is a well known criticism of the Tineco smart vacuums because it can't be manually overridden.

    Most reviewers place little to no weight on Tineco's app which add's nothing to the function of the vaccum mop, nor the hot air function on some self cleaning stations which is more of a nice to have than substantively useful.

    Hope this helps and happy buying! Keen to hear other perspectives

      Can confirm Tineco's app is just there to remind people about maintenance based on run time, getting new accessories etc

    • Thanks heaps that's very helpful s5 it is

      • I think he went dreame h12s

        • I shouldn't have read his review and 2 in the morning 😂

  • Tempting, but after my experiences with the T20 I'm hesitant to gamble on their durability.
