Here it is. Having my Jabra Elite 75t active earphones just pack up after 2.5 years I am on the hunt for another pair as I need them for the dull commute. Instead of paying >$200 for 2 years of use I am going to try this cheaper alternative. Rtings seems to like them, I'll give them a go. Info from website:

Reduce Noise By Up to 98%: Space A40 has an upgraded noise cancelling system to block out a wider range of distracting noises. So wherever you go, you'll always have the space you need to focus.

Automatically Tailored Noise Cancelling: Space A40 detects external noises and automatically selects a suitable level of noise cancelling for your surroundings. Enjoy your personal space whether you're indoors, outdoors, commuting, or on a flight.

50 Hours of Personal Space: That's enough playtime to enjoy up to 1,000 songs or 25 movies. The earbuds have a 10-hour single charge playtime, and fast charging gives you 4 hours of listening from a quick 10-minute charge.

Highly Detailed Sound: Thanks to soundcore's pioneering double-layer diaphragm drivers, Space A40 noise cancelling earbuds produce sound with strong bass, clear mids, and bright treble. You can also listen using LDAC mode for Hi-Res Audio Wireless sound.

Comfortable, No Matter How Long You Listen: Space A40 noise cancelling wireless earbuds are smaller than all other soundcore ANC earbuds, are as light as a sheet of paper, and have an ergonomic shape so they fit comfortably in your ears.

I personally like this earbuds. Have been using for more than a year. Cheap and the best.

  • Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds are good as well, with a stem design. Not sure whether the stem design makes the head smaller than Space A40.

I bought these a few months ago. I quite like it. Fits well and good anc. Used it over my Bose qc35ii for an overseas trip and thought it performed decently and battery lasts quite long.

Only downside is that the mic isn't good. At least not compared to my 1more comfort buds pro. The comfort buds pro seems to slide off my ears quite easily even when I'm idle

What’s the best ones to deal with a room packed of heavy snorers and machines in a hospital for side sleepers please to cancel out noise? :(

These are the scenarios that are the most important use cases IMO
Sleep is so important for the body to heal and not everyone has the option to leave or switch rooms.

Snoring and pain filled moans are not always controllable and certainly not intentional but have significantly affected my stay in hospital

I have a set of these in white, been using for about a year on motorbike commute. They are great, noise cancelling works really well. Sound is good, I can recommend and this is great price 🤠

My go to buds, love the ANC on the plane
    Great value

  • Have two of these fail on me during long flights, one was literally as boarding. It was enough for me to never use them again, made for very rough flights with no other source of entertainment.

Soundpeats mini HS are now my go to, I found ANC is not required if the earbuds fit correctly. I fly at least two times a week and only really notice it when I am within a couple rows of a screaming baby that I would like ANC, but that is when I turn the volume up. Bonus is they are small and cheap enough I now travel with two pairs, just in case I lose them.

  • How’s the call quality? Can it be used to take office calls during commute?

    • Good enough, I have taken calls on the bus with them. Though if you're in a noisy environment it isn't the greatest performer.

  • My only complaint about these buds after having them for a year or two is the battery life. On the plane with max noise cancelling and playing music i would be lucky to get 4 hours with them. Would've been nice to get 5 - 6 hours with them.
