Even better price than a week a go. And is pricematching costco (if delivered).

But if you have a CostCo membership, I will link to their deal below, which is $10 better, if picking up in store (but the same price if delivered as indicated),

Note : Vornado's amazon storefront is still not delivering to (some) regional areas. e.g. Northern NSW… :/

Anyway, personally I'm a huge fan of this fan, as it is the most powerful one in their lineup, and can generate a significant breeze. I own one, and bought 1 for my Dad last Christmas.

Btw, if you need smart plug capability, you should look out for a DC variant, such as the 633DC.

    It's called a fan

    • Yea it's still a fan but it's made to actually circulate the air though kind of like the industrial ones. Even on low this'll push air further than most house fans on their highest setting. The blades on it are tilted a lot more which gives it more push whereas a regular fan has flatter blades.

You can just point it at you like a normal fan if you want but it works a lot better if you angle it towards the roof corners and actually circulate the air like it's made to do.

Mines still going strong 8 years later just needs a full clean every now and then and it's good to go.

Easily paid for itself a bunch of times over in how much less I turn the aircon on or by using it with the aircon to cool/heat a room quicker by circulating the air.
Some people might find the lowest setting is still too powerful and noisy, so if you're going to use it for a bedroom at night it might take some getting used to. Otherwise grab the smaller version.

Works best if you aim it from one corner of a room diagonally across to the roof corner opposite and get the whole rooms air circulating.

  • looks like out of stock now but I ended up buying the medium sized DC model for 184 from GGC.
For those who have used these before - is it worthwhile getting one with a pedestal far or is this itself is designed to be used from the floor?

If you're redirecting your aircon cool air drops fast so floor is better

I have one without pedestal and would appreciate one, I put one by the window to draw cool air in from outside.

  • I am still learning where to place mine, I feel like I'm doing something wrong

    • Try aiming it into a ceiling corner (where 3 sides meet), found that works best for me

  • My small studio rental doesn't have aircon, is this a solid choice to accompany my pedestal fan?

    • Yes.

This fan produces much more wind than most pedestal fans.

It makes hot days much more bearable.

I just paid $144.99 for the white one in Amazon. Still 2 left in stock. I hope it will work with the 20% via TopCashBack
