Good timing for this coming summer and all the 12v fridge deals popping up.

I believe this is ATL if you can pick up and it comes with a worklight (the listing for battery itself isn't included in the current eBay promo and only gets $10 off)

  • Geez.. $58 postage to WA

Click & Collect if there's a store near you.

      • Maybe that's their intention, delivery costs high enough to make you C&C and maybe buy some more stuff while you're there :D

Though these guys manage to ship a battery 4 times the weight (and capacity) for not much more..

Thats nearly how much the 36ah was going for a few weeks back 😂

      • Didnt they cancel on everyone?

        • +1

          Yeah.
Now I'd be scared the shipping is a pricing error at $58 and get cancelled for a dodgy reason and then get re-quoted for 5x the price.

    • Have to do click and collect for that price…

  • Can this type of battery withstand the heat in a locked car in summer to run a DIY sentry mode dashcam?
Edit: already have hardwire kit front and back.

    • I just use a 10000mah powerbank from one of the regular deals. It's not gonna last but for $15 it will do.

      • Normal power bank chemistry is highly susceptible to thermal runaway. I wouldn’t recommend it in a hot car

        • Yep, the heat will degrade lithium faster than normal temps, but it'll still last a few years I'd say. And yes lifepo safer than lipo

    • Solar panel to maintain starter battery if its already hardwired?

Keep it under your boot floor, its always cold in there.

I wonder if there will be a problem with your address this time…

  • How long will 24Ah power a cheap fridge?

    • Not too long! 10 hours

Handy for a trip to the shops or a picnic but wouldn't want to rely on such a tiny battery to run a fridge for a weekend away
