We saw this a few weeks ago so it's been around a bit. In the end decided against it. The lights looked to be static and we only learnt pre-lit is someone has done the light hanging for you, not like it's still not LEDs with an obvious wire running across branches.
For about the same price we bought a better style Big W tree, and lights that actually have functions, and Kmart/discount shop baubles.
Which big w tree did you go for?

I jumped on this deal too. Tree arrived today. It's pretty good but not the quality from David Jones I was hoping for with a RRP$249 tree (it's just basic and the instruction page has some poor English.)
And unfortunately it has a missing tree 'branch' - looks like someone forgot to put it on the little hook on the 'trunk' they hang off, and another small bit of a branch is broken off.
I don't want to return it as it's a huge box, hassle and my kids have already decorated it. I'm thinking of asking for a refund/partial refund. What would you do?

FWIW these appear to be the same manufacturer as Big W’s trees. Same stand design, features etc. Slightly different height and # of tips though.
