Knobby is usually considered a comfortable brand of cool undies with a range of funky designs with bright colours (Coral Camo imho is best), as well as some glow-in-the-dark, and more subdued designs. They used to mainly sell men's undies, now they also sell women's and kid's undies. They also have PJ sets, undies plus socks, socks, multi packs, towels, water bottles etc. They're often considered more comfortable and durable than Step-One, and though dearer than Kmart ones, many consider them longer lasting and a lot nicer to look at. They are pretty cool (temperature-wise) to wear.

Get in quick before the most exciting designs sell out in your style and size. Some sizes already sold out.

Free gift if you spend > $150.

Most undies are 30% off (prices are listed on the page, no code needed) making most of them $23.10 as a one time purchase. You can get the men's cheaper ($19.10) by subscribing to their Undie Club (make sure you click ONE TIME PURCHASE under the size selection if you don't want to subscribe). Kids undies are cheaper. Some merino undies are 50% off.

Shipping is free if you subscribe to the Undie Club, otherwise it was $5 for me, there's some other options that were dearer, it might be address-specific, I can't get back to that page to get more info. Once you've made an order, you'll get an email to say you have unlocked free shipping for the rest of the Black Friday sale, in case you missed out on anything (just shop with the same email address, no code needed).

Mens styles include trunk, long leg (longer trunk), and brief. I've seen the trunk and long leg, they are apparently very comfortable and cool and durable. Some are now offered in "naturals" version, maybe someone in the comments can say what they're like. They are pretty supportive but there's no separate manly-bits-holders, and no special anti thigh rubbing tech, but going for the long leg version might help if your trunks tend to roll up.

Women's styles include g-string, high cut brazilian, high wasted classic, bikini, shortie, and midi which is a longer legged one that's new and a welcome addition. Some are now offered in "naturals" version. They also have bralettes and crop bras.

Kids range includes shorties for girls and trunks for boys.

examples:
* Jingle Brawls men's long leg trunk $23.10
* Hex Appeal glow in the dark men's trunk and sock pack $38.08
* Plunder Down Under women's midi trunk $23.10 (currently sold out in sizes 12 and 14)
* Gotta Be Squidding boys trunk $14.70
* 3 pack of mystery designs girl's shortie $38.76
* Greatest Hits Volumne 3 men's trunk 5 pack $89.00

Size guide is available. For a male who usually wears undies in size M or L depending on the brand and who has a bit of muffin top in a M, the L might fit well.

Note: If you notice a Mens Trunk Subscription $0.00 in your cart, you'll be subscribing to the Undies Club, so if you didn't mean to do that then delete that from the cart and it should revert the undies pricing to the one time purchase price.

    I have a fair few of these, especially from their $1 sale whenever that was. They fit nice, feel good, no chafing BUT they are a sweat factory and trap heat

    • That sale was the best! I keep looking in case something so good ever comes up again, but it hasn't so we buy during the sales like this one now. Those $1 ones are still going pretty well despite being the favourite and most worn undies.

      We live in a hot climate, and these are the undies chosen for normal wear and when going outside in the heat, apparently they're the coolest - do you have suggestions on ones that are comfy and cooler that we can look into?

        I wanted to know that very question too. It seems Tradie bamboo anti chafe are the goto. Have a couple of pairs now so undergoing testing

        • Interesting thread, just a pair of undies that don't chafe and are cooler doesn't seem too much to ask, and suggestions of wearing extra layers (eg bike pants) kinda defeats the purpose unless they are your outer layer.. Hope the Tradie's go well. Are their waistbands ok? A different model of Tradie had a tighter than normal waistband, especially compared to the Knobbys.

      • I'm way up in the north, just bought step one's again on BF sale. Pricey but seems worth it for dry and comfy bits

    Comfiest undies. I disagree with the guy above, for me they are the best for airflow and will always prefer these to my Step One's.
