    By the way, price was jacked up this week from $759 to $856 in 'preparation' for the discount codes.

    They've never sold it for $1,299 on ebay for this listing.

        Only as of last month when they changed the law. Before that they were illegal.

        It is illegal in Vic to ride escooters (or bicycles) on footpaths.

          It's okay to be wrong. No need to scramble the tiniest of technicalities.

          Besides, "footpath" can serve as the catch-all name for any path used by pedestrians. A "shared path" can also be a "footpath". From the pedestrian's point of view, the path they are walking on is functioning as a footpath. "I lost my wallet, I think I dropped it on the shared path" said nobody ever.

    It seems it is illegal in NSW

    Personal e-scooters remain illegal on NSW roads and road-related areas, including footpaths, shared paths and bicycle lanes.
