I ordered this. But does anyone know how the Solocams work in comparison to the EUFY cam?

My Homebase 2 died the other day, so I bought the Homebase 3 with 2x eufyCam 3 from Bunnings ($718).
Is this camera much better than a eufyCam 3?I don't know if better would be the correct term.
It's a different camera with more functionality but lower resolution.A rotating camera isn't going to be useful or practical in every location.

Stitched, I only ordered one and was waiting to receive voucher to use on the second purchase 😂
Placed order for 2 units at around 8.30am.
Order was still 'pending' so called local store to check if order was ready for pickup and was advised they would pack them and I could make my way in.
Luckily I was able to pick up both units. Staff were aware of the price error. Was shown a stack of probably 50+ orders and said they would be fulfilled in the order they were placed (they only had about 10 units left so cancellations should be expected).
Might be worth calling your local store.
My local store I ordered C&C for has run out of stock (I ordered at 7.30am). They've said they're trying to organise more stock, but I expect a cancellation.

Yeah, I ordered 3, but only received 1 voucher via email after shipping confirmation.
Contacted them via online chat and they said it was a system error, but would manually process the other gift cards but could take up to 3 weeks.
I received email saying item has been backordered and will receive in 2 weeks.
Be aware that the solar panels seem to delaminate. Its a common issue amonst most eufy forums.
Interesting, in my experience with a dead homebase 2 after a few years use they send out a replacement with no questions asked.
My front yard gets some decent sunshine a few hours a day, but one friend said don't buy the solar ones because the daily charging cycle would destroy the battery in about 12 months.. is this a valid concern? Thank you.

Picked up both after work and got the gift cards 15 mins after via email
My front yard pretty much doesn't get much if any sunlight at all due to the way it's facing (sun is always at the back of the house). Would indirect sunlight be sufficient to charge the camera for constant use
This comes with a detachable solar panel and extension cable to you can run the panel separate to the camera

I've been waiting for the S340 to come down in price for a few months now. I have 3x E340 floodlight cameras set up on three sides of the house. Fourth side is a narrow path which I've had to set up 2x eufy cam 3 just to see the whole length of the path. I also need to climb up and take them down every 6 month to recharge them.
With the S340, I just need a new gutter mount and I can leave this sucker mounted permanently. $218 is so worth not having to climb up there twice every 6 months to recharge the damn thing.
Now I need to find new locations for the two eufy cam 3s.
seems like Bunnings' price matching system got played. Google search still showed that bunnings is selling for 318 but the actual price is 218
I placed an order at Bunnings. If I buy a camera for 318 to claim the $40 HN gift card and then return the camera, can I still claim the gift card?
In the case of a refund of the purchased item and the gift card is unable to be returned, the value of gift card must be deducted from the refunded amount.
