    Why does my Cashrewards activation disappear (on my Chrome extension), once I go to checkout?

    Does that happen for anyone else? I'm trying to buy an R36S handheld console.

      Nobody should be using Chrome. It's made by an advertising company to track everything you do online. Use Firefox and the Cashrewards extension. Also use the uBlock Origin extension but make sure you disable it before attempting to use Cashrewards.

        Haha, I use Firefox. When people process any google-search, have a look @ your url & notice the added-strings before &/or after your search-words…where do they come & what are their functions ?

        Which is why I've dumped Temu after one chance I gave them. They lured me with a 50% cashback for new users. I'm obviously the sucker here. And now ive unistalled their malware ridden app. As a matter of principle, I've not used them ever since.

    I ordered something from Temu for the first time yesterday. 12 minutes later i kept getting spammed by my bank that someone was trying to add my credit card to a Google Pay. Bank gave me no option but to cancel my credit card. FFS

      I wouldn't recommend ever using Temu. The prices are pretty irresistible, I know, but the risk is too high.

      The amount of data Temu collects about you is unnecessary and disturbing. Temu and associated companies have been accused of running embedded malware. Your information is subsidising the cheap prices. Do not install the app and remember to clear your cookies. Pay with PayPal or a disposable CC.

        No different than most other websites and apps then? Meta, Google, Amazon and others vacuum up as much data as they can about you, use it for their own purposes and sell it to shady [data brokers] (https://odysee.com/@NaomiBrockwell:4/Byron-Tau:1) who then on-sell it to others. Many apps include code to harvest your contact lists, your location, what other apps you're running, look at your photo albums, read your texts and more.

        Good tip to use disposable CC.

          Thankfully, none of which it can do unless you explicitly grant it permission to do so. The code shouldn't be there, of course, but at least it can't run rampant and unchecked.

          Of course, I know a lot of people blindly accept anything put in front of them in order to "make the prompt go away", but that's a different problem entirely.

        My colleagues (not just one) just fall into this cheap price trap and getting a number of scam calls in the next day after using Temu. You feel it, it's your choice. Not recommend.

    If this is for "new Temu customers" only why is it "capped at $60 per member per day"?

    I joined Temu recently (less than 2 weeks ago) for the 55% cashback offer, am I still a "new Temu customer" who can use this?
    If not, is there a way I can sign up again as a "new Temu customer" and how?

    I ordered this morning for the first time due to the 80% cashback. I didn't notice the 30% for new users discount though, unless it was already included in the item listings. Payed via paypal, it pulled my address/phone number from there where i changed my number and surname to something generic. Hopefully that initial grab won't result in me starting to receive scam calls, otherwise i'll know it's from temu. No tracking yet.

      Most probably, Temu disabled the 30% off when the cashback is 80%.
