  • what they mean by deactivated?

  • My CR cashback from August when I ported straight out was just approved.

    • One was, one wasn't. Not going to risk it with Boost anymore.

      • Ah, bummer.

      • I bought two as well.

    • That's lucky, mine wasn't

      • @ozilicious @Lets Go Brandon That's not good and appears to be a random check. I assume you bought from CR. Cashrewards didn't state in their terms not to deactivate until cashback is payable. TA/TCB is the only one to mention this.

        • Mine was TCB

          • @ozilicious: So the double standards is real?!

            • @Imnuts7: @ozilicious Did your purchase status change from pending to rejected or was it pending, confirmed then rejected?

Boost order from TCB was confirmed by Telstra prior to SIM activation in one of the offers. I was wondering if a confirmed order from TCB/Boost could be rejected later by Telstra.

              • @trixieb: I didn't check until recently so I'm not sure about the status changes

  • How long does it take cashback to be approved?

    • +1

      14 weeks

  • Was $11 so this is a drop to $9.50

  • Apologies if I am missing something, but why would I get this deal when the Lyca cashback one gets me money back?

    • +2

Because you can only get profit from Lyca once.
If you've ordered previously, that's it.

This is the best mutli-order prepaid sim deal at the moment.

    • +2

Lyca was truly a nightmare to deal with, I ended up just canceling mine.

      • +1

Same here, l’ll never use Lyca again.

  • So you can’t activate as an eSIM?
It has to be a physical SIM right?
Or do they mean eSIM with no credit equivalent to a $2 sim?

    • you need to order the physical SIM which will be sent through post
the same actual physical SIM then must be activated within 30 days of purchase

      • Yeah I was worried that was the case, I have my main number on a physical SIM and on iPhone you can only have 1 physical SIM at a time ;(
I would’ve grabbed one otherwise for extra data as a backup. Oh well

I have a cheap multi-SIM android 5G phone which I bought only for the hotspotting.

It's seen so many SIMs come in and out of itself.

My hotspot cheap android phone is a proper a SIM Slut.

  • I don't see the $9.50 cashback on $13 sim or $13.50 on $17.50 sim

    • $13 SIM is the $39, while $17 SIM is the $49 . They are in promotions

  • +1

I found it for $238.95 with eBay Plus

  • Has anyone tested that cashback definitely dont work with eSIMs?

  • TCB cashback ends today in 8 hours (possibly 11:59 pm?)
