Small brewery in the Gold Coast, recently started up.
There was a Black Friday sale using codes, but remaining stock now opened up for anyone to order at the discounted prices.

Note - I'm a family member of one of the owners.

Too lazy to type out all the offers, just have a look.

Roughly:
16 pack IPA's reduced from ~$90 to ~$60
16 pack pale ales reduced from ~$80 to ~$50

They ship to Perth for ~ $20 for 1 case, $30 for 2+ cases

I'm too lazy to buy, give it a miss ;)

Issues with reps is a valid reason for a -ve vote.

    • I like this comment, but I am too lazy to upvote it.

The 'was' price and 'from price' is very deceptive as it's comparing a 16 case to a four pack.

    • Thanks, I became less lazy and fixed that up

I've ordered a carton of Hazy IPAs. This is one of the better black friday beer deals doing the rounds, looking forward to the taste test!

Sad to have missed out on the American IPA. Any idea when these were canned?

    • YouTube videos are all ~ 2 weeks old.
Probably genuine new brewery muddling through social media and then comes up against OzBargain, i mean sometimes we aren’t fair to amateurs really…

      • Yeah I also feel like these guys probably don't even have stock that's very old! Still, sucks to order a case and it turns out to be 9 months old.

Ozbargain is one of the most brutal places out there - especially with businesses who give discounts that aren't deep enough to please the crowd. Paying for postage? God forbid!

I see you've ordered some - can you post the pkt date on here?

Not specifically sure but I only got my first case in September, which was only the 2nd one shipped from the brewery.
American IPA wasn't on the menu then so I'd guess 2 months max and probably less.

Sorry I'm not really involved in the brewery, just a freeloading family connection on the other side of the country. I just know they are using an experienced brewer and now waiting for more shipments myself.

      • No drama man - appreciate the post either way!

  • Postage just too high.

Where are you? I got 8 cases for $25 ~50kg of beer to Sydney

    • This postage price is probably still under cost.

    • CBCo do free postage if that helps.

440ml cans too! Grabbed 3 different cases to try. $25 postage to regional NSW.

  • I still can't comprehend at what point "craft breweries" who are just making fairly standard looking recipes on equipment likely imported off Alibaba, out the back of an industrial estate, decided that $98 was ok for 16 cans and the market just went… ok

  • I'll give it a bash, I got the Nebula Hazy IPA although I would have preferred the American IPA but it was sold out

  • I can vouch for the brewery being a new brewery. They haven't been brewing for long & their beers have been good so far. Not quite at Range or Hiker status but they are new & will get there. Certainly worth a visit
