Looks like Amazon is matching Big W - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/879449
Even cheaper If you took advantage of the 10% off amazon gift cards deal, it will then only cost you $161.10.
Please note that there has been discussion about some people having problems with the headphones disconnecting, though with Amazon you can always return them if they're faulty.

whay issues are tou refering to? Genuinely curious as i heard these were awesome value and had great audio quality due to the Audeze planar magnetic drivers.
Hey they sound great apparently but the issues with them working is the problem. I don’t own a set but from what I read all over whirlpool forums, here and reddit etc most people have the pulse elite disconnect randomly all the time and it’s not as simple as it reconnects itself but you need to remove dongle and reinsert it to get it going again. As mentioned some people don’t have a major issue and some have reported that on here but it seems 95% of people do.
Some uses also report the headset breaks easy which if you care for your stuff shouldn’t be a issue I would guess
Just google this - Pulse Elite Disconnecting
Should bring up tones of stuff for a little read if your keen on them
I’ve decided to do with SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X over the Pulse Elites due to the issues with them unfortunately as I would have loved to own a first party headset rather then the other Pulse OG set
I got the same issue with Arctis 7, that randomly disconnected from PS5. Need to unplug the dongle then plug in again.
I though it was because the headset getting old, but then when I tried on PS4, the issue never happen.I guess the issue is with the PS5 itself, not sure their software or firmware fail to detect the headset and turn the usb off.
thanks for all the responses, especially twisty.
@Rknin: Always welcome
Yep, even Amazon reviews state the same thing. Wouldn’t touch these with a barge pole if you value your sanity.

Note that if it's simply a matter of people treating their stuff poorly, the location of the break wouldn't be so consistent.
Virtually all images of this headset I've seen has the breakage at the same location, which suggests that it's a fundamental structural issue with the headset design creating stress points that the materials used can't cope with.
Yer sounds bad
Tempted but ahhhhh the issues
