Were you able to test Leap V2 Holiday Edition out at the showroom? If so, was the fabric noticeably coarser?
Yes, the Leaps on display in the Sydney showroom were supposedly the Holiday Edition.
They had fabric samples in a book and the new (full black) fabric is noticeably smoother (smoothness reminded me of a fine synthetic poly/nylon). I don't think the HE fabric is coarse enough to cause skin irritation but I was wearing jeans on the day.

We did just open our Amazon store which ships to QLD, though smaller selection there. We are running 20% off there as well.
There is no 20% on Steelcase on Amazon (checked today) also only black colour of leap V2 available. Not sure why you don’t ship to QLD whats the reason?

how long is the discount for?
I went to visit the showroom last week and asked about the difference between the standard vs "holiday edition" Leap chairs - they're essentially the same chair but the "holiday edition" uses a coarser dark grey/black fabric that is seasonal/phased out and hence on sale.
