Posting a Netflix release on OzBargain is not considered a deal for several reasons:

1.Not a Discount: OzBargain is a platform for sharing deals, which typically involve discounts, special offers, or price reductions. A Netflix release (such as a new show or movie) is usually not tied to any discount or offer, unless it is explicitly part of a promotion like a subscription offer or a discounted plan.

    1. Subscription-Based Service: Netflix operates on a subscription model, and users pay a fixed monthly fee to access its content. Unless you're sharing an offer that gives users a discount on their subscription, the release of new content (e.g., a new movie or series) is just a regular part of the service and doesn't qualify as a "deal" by the site's standards.

    2. No Cost Change: Unless the post involves a specific promotion where the cost of Netflix or its subscription plan is reduced or bundled with a special offer (e.g., discounted rates, free trials, or bonus content), simply posting about new content doesn't offer any tangible savings or value to OzBargain users.

    3. Regular Releases: New Netflix content (like original series or films) is part of the usual content cycle and doesn't provide an extra incentive for bargain hunters. It's expected as part of the service and not a special offer or sale.

To share a Netflix-related deal on OzBargain, it would need to include something that offers clear value or savings, such as a price cut, a free trial, or a special bundle.

    • I agree. This is more of a PSA but it can still be posted. If you don't want to see these SUBS, you can opt out by using the instructions under the post.
IMHO, a deal is a saving to benefit somebody by either saving money or a bonus item to make it a deal/bargain.

How they managed to make 4 parts of this movie still baffles me. Could've wrapped it up in one movie if they cut out all the violence.

    • +1

      lol

    • They have to space it out because the only way John Wick can take out 100 people by himself is if all 100 go at it one after the other, never a group because that'll ruin the immersion.

Ummm why it took Netflix so long to add it? It's been available to watch on Amazon Prime since almost a year ago.

I don't know. Who pays for Netflix nowadays?

    • A lot of people …

    • Movie on both Netflix and Prime. I haven't seen that before for a big movie.

      • Double the $$. It seems pretty clever to double dip everywhere. I wonder why more movies dont do this

Is anyone able to share their Netflix login?

  • It was on Prime ages ago.

  • 5 years later (being sarcastic here). Those who wanted to watch it, I am sure already have.
