      I’m in VIC mate but I can assure you that this particular model can be installed by anyone and it’s practically tool less. All you need is a plastic pry tool and it comes in the box.

    Can this be controlled from the front? Because my kids are in car seats and can’t reach the screen.

      Not from the front screen but it’s easy enough to turn around and touch the screen from the front seats. It also has a carplay function so you can send content from your phone to the rear screen as another option.

      It can control the vehicles AC, rear seat heaters, music, etc. It won’t be stolen when you’re parked. It doesn’t have a battery that will swell in a hot car. It won’t become a projectile in a collision. There are a few good reasons.

      The rear screen has its own onboard speakers so you can have the car audio playing separately if you like. Recommend headphones for the back for long drives tho.

        Awesome, also another quick one, can you turn the seat controls off on the rear screen, i could imagine my kids playing around with my seat just to annoy me

          The seat control can only control the passenger seat not the driver seat. You can’t turn it off but you can pin lock the screen. If this is important to you I’d recommend the version prior to the update. exact same screen and hardware but the seat controls were dependent on a cable so you could simply choose not to install the cable. Pm me if you’re interested and I can organise this for you.

      None. It has its own processor and runs standalone android.

    Just had a couple of questions about functionality of this unit. I bought a similar model for my mum and dad and it didn't have some of these functions:

    1) Connect bluetooth game controllers (like xbox)?
    2) Connect USB came controllers (like xbox360)?
    3) Connect bluetooth headphones?
    4) Connect bluetooth game controller and headphones at same time?

      1. Yes 2 game controllers via bluetooth
      2. Yes however there is only one data port so you will need a usb hub
      3. Yes but only 1 headphone at a time
      4. 1 headphone + two game controllers can be connected
