  • I am after this one as well. the same price everywhere. it was $499 yesterday on ebau with the 30% off code

  • Is this any good or are you better off buying a roborock for 2 grand?

  • +3

Had this for around 2 weeks / 2-3 times used and the roller mop motor seized. Tried to troubleshoot and confirm that it does rotate/spin in cleaning mode but after numerous attempts to fix/repair and even calling roborock, they just said to return it and they will investigate. Mind you no attempt to send any shipping label and all transport costs were for me to bear it seems..

Ended up packing it up and RMA'ing it for a full refund. Was pretty tiring to even use this mop even with the electric wheels. Better spending your money on a robot vaccuum/mop combo to do the work for you.

Good concept but just not for me.

    • Cheers, was just about to buy but I might cheap out and go with this one instead. Doesn't seem great support from Roborock (although I'd get it from Amazon and let them handle the return)

Do you know of any robot ones with a dirty water tank at a reasonable price though? From a quick look around they seem around the $1500+ point. A robot mop that's just a wet pad doesn't seem a good replacement for actual mopping, which is what I'm trying to find something for.

Have you considered Tineco iFloor 5 and Roborock Flexi Lite both for $299. I am looking for a wet dry cleaner as well

        • I actually ordered the Roborock, but I just cancelled it to get the Tineco instead. Yesterday it was a higher price, so thanks for that!

Tineco seem to have a better name in the mopping space, despite the reviews on amazon not being as good. Easy to get spare parts too. Only thing that the Roborock looks good for is the dock it sits in though that dries it, sounds like the Tineco it has to be removed and let dry (which isn't really an issue, I'd rather rinse it anyway after use).

          • @freefall101: the $600+ Tineco has fast dry in 5 mins. in China they have a fast dry Tineco s5 model which is about $320 AUD. but they don't sell it in Australia. I got a bissel crosswave at home I am too lazy to take it part and dry it
