30 Days Visa-Free Entry to China for Australian & New Zealand Passport Holders

5528

Thank you Scrooge McDeal for the original 15 day deal.

Good news for travelers from the many countries benefiting from China’s unilateral visa-free policy: from November 30, 2024, visa-free stays in China will be extended to 30 days, instead of the current 15.

Also good news for me as I was planning a bit longer trip to China early next year and was dreading the visa application process.

These are now the current countries enjoying the 30 day visa free entry

Andorra Australia Austria Belgium
Brunei Bulgaria Croatia Cyprus
Denmark Estonia Finland France
Germany Greece Hungary Iceland
Ireland Italy Japan Latvia
Liechtenstein Luxembourg Malaysia Malta
Monaco Montenegro Netherlands New Zealand
North Macedonia Norway Poland Portugal
Romania Slovakia Slovenia South Korea
Spain Switzerland

                      • @SvcKpc: Like clock work, Here you go brining up more things because you didn’t google unesco.

Honestly though I hope you’re getting some of that 1.6 billion from the US.

Did you even google what unesco does and who they are?

“You guys?” It’s 2024 baby girl. Did you just assume something because you need to reach for straws?

I haven’t actually at any stage stated what I personally felt about all this geopolitical bs besides we should have that war already… it’s been way too long.

That and questioning your statements with actual verifiable facts you can lookup yourself. But it doesn’t suit your narrative so I’m apparently deranged?

By the way, I see you don’t know what per capita is or what cultural significance the serfdom religion Tibet had before China came into the picture.

All the power to ya junior. Life is good. Who needs context right?

                        • @ashtrayc2c: @SvcKpc I’m curious.

Are you one of those kids that hate on someone because one of your mates told you to hate them? Copy paste fella?

Or are you one of the ones who would formulate your own opinions about who you’re told to hate?

Actually don’t need to answer, I think your replies have explained enough.

Either old dog with new trick issue or young kid that’s never seen the world? That’s an assumption on my part.

Wouldn’t this be a perfect opportunity to go to China and justify all that pent up angst?

                          Remember though. When in Rome.

We expect foreigners who come into Australia to obey our laws. If you can’t even reciprocate then tell people you’re from… I duno. America or something. Lol.

                        • -2

@ashtrayc2c: Yes, you are absolutely deranged because you refuse to address the concentration camps, refuse to address China's support for Russia's invasion, refuse to address the Tiananmen Square Massacre and refuse to address their repeated threats of war to Taiwan.

Shill all you like, you're not fooling anyone.

                          • @SvcKpc: Go look up chinas position since day one with Russia and Ukraine. Know how to google? Did you at least learn what unesco does?

Ever been to China? Last time I went I got the chance to hit up a tier 3 city for a few days. Even their primary schools has barb wire fences. I guess that’s a concentration camp too then by the satellite images.

I don’t agree with their presidency term changes but the bloke probably has more experience managing than you’ve had hot dinners.

                            • -2

@ashtrayc2c: Sorry, I don't care what a nationalist like you thinks.
China supports Russia economically while they're conducting a violent invasion of Ukraine.

You are a chinese nationalist shill, and you have been programmed to ignore all evidence and attempt to shut down anyone who cares criticize your motherland.

                              • -1

@SvcKpc: Apparently an Aussie that’s actually been to China who knows more about historical events is a nationalist.

                                Who’s deluded now?

And by support Russia economically do you mean through trade? We literally have a free marked capitalist system. If it’s cheap and it’s something I need, I’ll buy it. This site is literally called oz bargain.

No one tells me how to spend my money or who to spend it with. So when a country exercise that same fundamental right we take for granted they’re bad?

Who else is trading with Russia I wonder. So by your logic are they supporting Russia economically too?

                                • -1

@ashtrayc2c: I find it hilarious how you feel the need to double post every single time you reply. You're clearly insecure and unsettled by having your nationalism called into question that you feel the need to double up your posts every time. Again, you are truly hopeless and embarrassing.

Russia is a country invading a peaceful neighbor and causing death on a large scale. This is a practice that has been long-abandoned by the civilized world, which is precisely why most countries are choosing to impose sanctions and blacklist all trade. Not China though, because they believe in conquest just like Russia, and see no issue with Russia conducting a violent invasion. After all, China themselves are planning their own violent invasion of Taiwan, which is why they repeatedly conduct millitary exercises and missile launches.

Again though, nobody cares what a nationalist chinese person has to say. You've already established yourself as completely hopeless.

@SvcKpc: Rather than editing I just post again. Do you know how that works?.

Your interpretation of why it’s happening is exactly how this conversation is revolving.

It’s you expressing your interpretation and someone questioning it, which for some reason you can never stay on your own topic.

A reminder may help. How is China supporting Russia economically with the conflict?

Specificity is a thing. Or people will just assume you don’t know what you’re talking about.

I already provided enough with the trade example, at least pretend not to be dense and provide something productive?

Indeed, you're an insecure little man.

You're clearly a nationalist chinese, and feel emotionally compelled to defend your daddy communist party. Embarrassing. Totally worthless junk.

@ashtrayc2c: You're in no position to claim others are deflecting. You have been doing nothing but deflect criticism away from your favourite authoritarian dump.

You will be deflecting even when they attempt to force a supply shortage to Taiwan. It's how your brain is programmed.

Been to China? You're from there mate.

So if China believes in peace for Ukraine, why are they allowing their little attack dog North Korea to send troops and missiles to the front line? Let's not pretend North Korea acts independently from China when their economy is almost entirely dependent on them. China could easily put them in their place, but they don't, and continue to provide them resources for creating nukes.

Looking forward to your bizarre wumao-scripted response.

@KarS: hold on a sec. lets get this straight.

In your opinion, china is supporting russia by not stopping north korea sending aid to russia. and its chinas fault because china hasnt told korea no.

                                    uwotm8?

if its easier to help you for argumentative purposes then yeah sure you can call me chinese.
I just find it humerous how someone living in our society cant comprehend theres people out here that doesnt share the same opinion.

@SvcKpc: Here son. I did your work for you. I googled it.
Hope you know what that is now so you can learn what unesco is.

Major export partners with Russia in 2024.
                                China: coal and crude oil,
EU, mostly France, Austria, Slovakia, : LNG gas and oil,
                                India: coal and crude oil,
                                Turkey: oil products,
                                Japan: LNG,
                                Brazil: oil products,
                                South Korea: oil products,
Taiwan: coal. <- this one surprised even me.

And these are just major 2024 stats.

You don’t get to pick and choose champ.
Guess they’re all bad to you then?

Travel to Taiwan instead. Don't support CCP China

    • +1

Technically you kinda are even if you go to Taiwan, considering Australia doesnt even recognise taiwan as a country.

      • +1

Lmao. Someone negged me cos I said Australia doesn't recognise Taiwan as a country?

        Butthurt at the truth much?

You’re going to hate me even more when you look up the current Taiwan constitution and see how much land they classify as their own. Talk about independent and won’t even change their constitution. Pleb.

        • -2

          nihao comrade

          • +2

@jasonxc: lol. just someone with a firm grasp of facts. as much as it hurts you to know its true.

but its ok to not accept the truth.

if youre taiwanese maybe you can explain why the taiwanese consitution still isnt changed to this date?

            • -2

@ashtrayc2c: You don't have any grasp of facts though, you're just a boring wumao shillbot.

              • @jasonxc: my facts are just as available online as your facts. how we interpret it is subjective and completely up to our own experiences and what we know.

i literally ask the same questions and for some reason people lose their minds and fall back on the same tactics over and over again. sticks and stones. even had one person wanting a fist fight because they cant process what im asking, but they asked nicely. lol.

why does the taiwan air defence identification zone have more of china than taiwan in it?
CHINESE TODDLERS ON BICYCLES INVADE TAIWAN AIR DEFENSE IDENTIFICATION ZONE is also a valid news headline if you think about it.

why hasnt taiwain changed their territorial claims in their constitution till this date all while calling for independence? and why have we not recognised taiwan as a country since 1972? here's a current and more specific citation mind you this is from our own government.

why are all these trade deals with russia still been conducted to this date even over the sanctions? why did old mate boris convince ukraine to cease negotiations when they already were making grounds to stopping the war?

anyway, ponder over it if you want. but the deal seems to be doing pretty well. 525+ and only 9-
can i grasp that fact as china is so bad to visit, the overwhelming majority of votes disagrees?

                • -2

                  @ashtrayc2c:

                  my facts

Posting propaganda is not the same as posting facts, chinese wumao.

Again, you're not fooling anyone. China isn't very good at being discreet, which is precisely why so much of the western world has disdain for them. Even laughable shillbots like you are hopeless in turning the tide.

Nobody will ever warm to an authoritarian dumpster government. Hopeless little shill xD

                  • @SvcKpc: dont deflect champ. that message wasnt to you.

                    but while youre here.

specifically, what do you mean when you said china is supporting russia economically?

                    • -2

@ashtrayc2c: I know your small brain has been thoroughly conditioned already, but again, you're in no position to claim anyone is deflecting when you repeatedly refuse to confront the Tiananmen Square Massacre, China's insistence that it never happened, or incidents like this:

                      https://files.catbox.moe/c4q7te.webm

You're just a brainwashed chinese nationalist. Worthless and hopeless :)

can i grasp that fact as china is so bad to visit, the overwhelming majority of votes disagrees?

Also love how you keep desperately citing the vote count on a deal. Clearly you are not very intelligent.

This site is full of chinese shillbots, and it's trivially easy to click a button. The fact that there are 10 negs is enough to raise eyebrows, which is why you're so restless in your defence of the authoritarian dumpster.

Sook all you like, you're hopeless. Public opinion will never favor China, ever :)

                  • @SvcKpc: specifically, how is china supporting russia economically?

thats the same question you cant seem to answer.

oh look 529+ now. telling ya. make some fake accounts and get your mates at least to neg it down a bit.

                    • -2

@ashtrayc2c: Thank you for further doubling down on your low intelligence :)

                      • @SvcKpc: How hard is it to answer a question for a statement you made yourself?

Again, how is China supporting Russia economically?

                        • -2

@ashtrayc2c: I already answered in a different reply chain, my dumb wumao friend. I guess because you're making so many double posts everywhere in your shill campaign it's difficult for your small brain to keep track.

                          • @SvcKpc: When you want someone to read something you direct the reply to them.

You think you’re the Center of everything?

                            I’ll wait.

Specifically, how is China supporting Russia economically?

@ashtrayc2c: I know you're a complete idiot, but once again, I already replied to this exact query in a different reply chain. Once again, just because you're stupid enough to double post everywhere doesn't mean anyone is trying to "deflect".

You are simply an unintelligent chinese shill.

Worst people in the world. My personal observations when I visited China. They don't line up and will cut in line. They have no manners. They piss in public and on public transport. They are entitled. They are rude. They will take all the food at the buffet even if they don't eat it all. They yell and spit. They blast their phones on the loudest speaker setting to watch videos or video chat with others in public. I saw a lady fall on the road and everyone walked by as if she was invisible. Taxi drivers are scammers. Shopkeepers are scammers. Can't walk 50 metres without some random middle aged lady aggressively offering prostitutes. Saw a restaurant reusing uneaten food when dishes were collected. I'm pretty sure some of the food I ate was not even real food.

Hong Kong and Taiwan people are waaaaaaaay more civilised and cultured and respectful and generally well-mannered. People are friendly and kind and intelligent and make an effort to help out. Was never bothered by touts or scammed in HK and Taiwan. Food is also much better. And the girls are waaaaaaay prettier too and dress modern.

Do yourself a favour and visit Hong Kong and Taiwan instead.

    • +2

Did you meet all 1.4 billion of them?
Have you beeen to every country in the world?
Worst people in the world, so far…

Nah, he's right on the money.
While you keep mindlessly shilling, the video evidence tells us all we need to know:

        https://files.catbox.moe/mkapst.webm

        • Doesn’t answer any of the questions does it? Funny how yall just keep deflecting with something new when context is introduced to the equation.

Oh look. It’s 506 likes on this bargain now.
Go make some fake accounts and get those negs up. Rookie numbers I tell ya.

          • -3

@ashtrayc2c: No, it answers the questions perfectly. That video says infinitely more than a nationalist shill like you ever could.

Alas, your brain has been conditioned to ignore evidence. Such is your nationalist conditioning.

            • +1

@SvcKpc: Hold on junior. Are you saying Australia is racist?

If a video from 2011 represents all of China in 2024 then by that same logic all the recent racist attacks during Covid would imply by your logic we’re all like that?

              Bit stupid don’t you think?

              • -2

@ashtrayc2c: It's not one video, it's thousands upon thousands. Not that numbers mean anything to a nationalist chinese person like you.

If a child was run over in Australia with 20+ pedestrians walking by watching it suffering on the road, it would cause national outrage. In China, it's just another day, and there are thousands, if not tens of thousands of CCTV videos showing incidents just like this.

"Racist attacks during covid" is simply another falsehood your communist government has conditioned you into believing. Again, you're not expected to understand, it's beyond your capabilities.

            • @SvcKpc: Don’t be sad when someone actually questions your statements, these interactions happen quite often in life especially on a social platform like this one.

Seething at someone asking basic questions in relation to your points is bad for your health, especially if you can’t follow up and stick to your own point.

But if you can’t even hold general discourse, then… I mean… yeah nah son. That one’s on you.

Just remember… even scientific papers are peer reviewed.

I do feel I need to apologise if your feelings are hurt, here here. Go get a Kit Kat or something.

I’m really envious of you tbh… Must be easy living in that box of yours. does been told what to do and say alleviate stress at all? ;)

Out of curiosity, do you only go places where they speak English because you feel you deserve that environment?

              • @ashtrayc2c: blame the algos and the internet.. people will grasp onto any old video they found that fits with their world view and ignores all evidence to the contrary. or use "my brother's second cousin went to china and was spat on" to shape their whole argument. no critical thinking, just a self fulfilling echo chamber.

                • +1

@May4th: Its almost satrical at this stage. dont know if im suppose to have any empathy in situations like this…

wonder what confusion in real time looks like. probably something like this

                  • -1

@ashtrayc2c: You don't even understand what empathy means.
Empathy isn't something the chinese government likes to teach. This is precisely why China can have an incident involving a 2-year old getting run over by a van, and having 20+ civilians just walk or drive by without doing anything to help.
Do not talk to us about empathy; it is beyond your understanding.

@ashtrayc2c: Do you always resort to braindead deflection when you've been exposed as utterly hopeless?

YOU'RE the one not answering questions here. Once again, refusing to confront China's support for Russia, refusing to address the Tiananmen Square Massacre, refusing to address the authoritarianism, refusing to address the continuing threats towards Taiwan.

You're terrible at arguing your case. As expected from a nationalist Chinese.

@SvcKpc: See what you did here. You posted again. See how that works? You can do it too.

So by your own logic are you unsettled and insecure because I’m disagreeing with you and you’re just butthurt about it?

The comment about empathy was to someone else. Though you were the topic of the humour. Well done for recognising.

FYI. It’s actually funny for someone to think everyone needs to have the same opinion.

You know what that can be called? Communism. You’re not a little commie are you?

Btw again. Be specific, in what way is China supporting Russia economically. Be specific in your answer. I’ll wait. This has been fun and all but let’s not digress too far.

                • -2

@SvcKpc: I just realised, maybe your brains doesn’t work well when it’s inundated with information that conflicts with your world view.

Let me ask this in a separate comment, and I do hope it’s not too hard to understand.

“In what way is China supporting Russia economically?”

                  • @ashtrayc2c: damn ashtray you sound like a typical brainwashed Chinese nationalist.

Factually speaking, I've just performed a search on youtube and there are countless videos of Chinese in China scooping and reusing gutter oil, recycling hotpot soup, making and selling fake rice and fake noodles, selling fake eggs, selling fake meat, filling dumplings with cardboard, Chinese people literally sitting on the floor and inside the fridges at the local supermarket because it is a hot day, literally sleeping in the beds at ikea, I also saw countless videos of Chinese people stealing food and fighting for food, and a video of a lady at a buffet who used a plate to scoop up all the prawns.

I've done a few google searches today and can see articles of Chinese tourists being banned in Japan for being rude.

I've personally encountered rude mainland Chinese people in Australia, especially in Sunnybank, Brisbane.

I'm Asian and very accepting and tolerant of Asians, but I've gotta admit mainland Chinese are like cave people. No offense.

p.s. Taiwanese and HK girls are still waaaaaay prettier than mainland girls !

                    • +1

@cheapskateasian: lets breakdown your points one by one.

what i sound like is of no relevance to my opinion derived from my own experiences after visiting china. its merely your interpretation which is subjective to your own upbringing.

factually speaking youtube is quite renowned for demonitizing specific videos thats opposes a narrative. clear example was during the riots in hk.

at no stage have i said these things doesnt happen in china ive merely questioned the consistency of the claims that what happens applies to everyone in china.

I completely agree on banning rude tourists. between us, the thing that annoys me is when they walk in a line next to eachother blocking my path when im walking in the CBD, theyre definitely asian.

ive personally encountered rude asians regardless of their heritage in Sydney and Melbourne. But I dont assume every asian is rude because of that.

I dont agree that you are tolearnt of asians from your statement if youre willing to paint an entire population due to what ever limited interaction youve had. which is why initially i added "so far" so untill youve met the entire population or at least 50% of them youve no ground to even statistically make that statement. i can imagine if it went over your head.

your preference of girls has no relevance here. just makes you sound like a sex tourist for adding that in without any context.

Nah, you clearly are. You are also clearly brainwashed.

                      • -2

@ashtrayc2c: relax bro. You are the only one defending China. If you are so passionate about China, why are you living in Australia?

yup, just as I thought… because China is a shithole of a country that oppresses and brainwashes its people. That's why you prefer the freedom and lifestyle Australia offers. Along with the rich economic opportunities, clean environment, and friendly people.

It's hilarious that you do not even realise how brainwashed you are that you are constantly defending China. Furthermore, it's amusing to me that you are denying/trying to play down factual evidence of Chinese people being the scum of the earth.

I don't think there are 3 things you could list that is a positive about Chinese people and their contribution to society as human beings.

Fighting on the internet is retarded. Agree with evidence based facts about Chinese people, and move on….

@cheapskateasian: tbh if i could i probably would. but ive only had working visas in the past. maybe for retirement.

as to comparing china to australia? australia is always going to be my home but to say china is a shithole just shows youve never been. but thats not my problem is it?

if by questioning generalised statements means brainwashed, then whos really brainwashed?

if you cant list 3 things positive about chinese people after meeting how many did you say?
then thats clearly a you problem which goes back to your lack of interactions, maybe go to china and meet more?

completely agree this is baseless for us to argue. far as i know you may be a decent bloke or lass.
but i dont agree with your evidence because ive been and lived there.
my opinions are my own and hell if any commie is going to covince me otherwise… youre not a commie are you? lol

                      He is wumao.

Their job is to try and change perception of China around the world. Most people look upon China negatively because it's an authoritarian dump that clamps down on democracy and isn't above violent surpression (which included murdering thousands of student protesters 35 years ago). To combat this perception, China invests a lot of money in online shilling, especially in pacific countries like Australia where they're trying to expand their influence.

@KarS: @KarS true story: hand on heart no lie I asked some Chinese students at my uni about the Tiananmen massacre and none of them had any idea what I was talking about. I found it so fascinating that Chinese citizens do not even know their own country's history.

The event does not exist in any literature or history teaching in China. That's really fascinating!

                        • @cheapskateasian: lol don't be gullible, you got played. all chinese know about tiananmen, they just know not to talk about it. they have codewords when they talk about it to escape censorship. of course they will play dumb when a random stranger in aus ask them about it

@May4th: And being the chinese shillbot you are, you take great pride in being conditioned not to talk about it. You fully approve of your communist government's insistence that it never happened and must never be mentioned.

@ashtrayc2c: Not only are they boosting trade, they are criticizing western sanctions and announcing stronger military cooperation. It's actually even worse than just keeping Russia's economy propped up, they're forming the new axis with them and Iran.

But alas, you are totally brainwashed. Not that your small brain will ever know any better.

Make sure you check DFAT advice b4 going there.

Latest update:We continue to advise exercise a high degree of caution in China. As previously advised, authorities have detained foreigners on the grounds of 'endangering national security'. Australians may be at risk of arbitrary detention or harsh enforcement of local laws, including broadly defined National Security Laws.

    • +2

8 million foreigners travel to China each quarter, their authorities must have a pretty busy job at detaining these people

    • +1

no one takes smart traveller advice at face value. FYI DFAT advice for UK/France and half of Europe is also "exercise a high degree of caution" so good luck going anywhere

      • May4th: Rubbish! If you don’t take Smarttraveller advice at face value and end up going to countries with the two highest travel advice ratings then you are flying solo without travel insurance! Good luck paying your hospital and maybe evacuation bills if you have an accident. You’ll end up just being another ACA sob story! Pay attention!
