What price are you seeing for that? https://www.liquorland.com.au/white-wine/hardys-vr-sauvignon… shows as $21 in my area. And each has 31 standard drinks. So nowhere near as good as what you are seeing…

The alcohol comes from Liqourland, not Coles itself but can order online via Coles Website
Searched Single Malt on the Coles website.

correct, generally liquorland doesn't open until late morning so alcohol orders need to be after lunch.
FYI the Asahi is made in Australia, not Japan if you weren't aware (no where near as good). Noticed they don't even mention that in the product details (but they do say "Japan's No1 beer"…)
Cant see it at coles but if at dans Monsuta Okinawa Premium Draft is still made in Japan, great beer.

Are the cans not imported anymore? Unless something changed recently I'm pretty sure all Asahi bottles are the Australian one, all cans (500ml and the more elusive 350ml ones) are imported. Unlike Kirin where a few years ago they flooded us with the Australian made ones - both bottles and cans, and made it very hard to find the actual imported stuff (don't trust 'imported' on a website or a physical menu - if it has too much English on it, is cheap, or is on tap, odds are it isn't imported Kirin!).
The 500ml cans used to be all imported from Japan however they started changing over to locally brewed around late in 2022.
All 500ml cans on shelves are now made in Australia.
This used to be one of my favourite beers and you can tell by the reviews on this product that it's been totally changed by getting locally brewed. It's a travesty that they didn't change any of the branding when the product fundamentally changed in quality.Haven't had Asahis in years. Was also one of my favourites. for some reason I had a $20 off code automatically applied to the order as well, so I got $60 off $150 spend…winning. Got Makers Mark 1L and Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin for $110. Not bad considering the bourbon is $81 at DM at the moment. Makes the Gin $30.

Seems a waste of time, its just Coles' way of getting rid of the rubbish that doesn't sell, its all in stock at Liquorland.
Was supposed to pickup at 2pm today. Just got an email saying your order was cancelled.
Yeah, i got the run around. Its not Liquorland by the way, the order is processed by Coles, on top of that the Coles app said my order was collected, which i hadn't, I missed the collection booking whilst laying on the beach last night, I went this morning.
Anyway, all good in the endI didn't know you could collect on the next day. I should try next time.

are you sure? I have heard people that buy things that are on sale at coles find that the prices have changed if they pick it up when the new catalogue prices came into effect. Have they changed that now? If they are going to charge me full price for the beer I buy today that is on special now, then I will make a special trip to get it tomorrow, otherwise I will leave it for wed (as they put a hold on your card with the price today, but not sure if they then adjust it if the prices change later)

If you modify the order on Wednesday, it triggers the Wednesday prices. If you don't want the prices to be changed, do not modify the order.
