Previously $349.99, I had it in my cart to monitor for price drops it went down to $149.99 but then went unavailable. It's now $149.99 again and there is an extra 5% off coupon.

I don't believe this model has been posted on OzBargain previously, a basic vacuum and mop combo with good suction power 4500Pa and LiDAR navigation. The Dreame app is pretty good in my experience with other models. It's not listed on Amazon, but looking on google I believe it only has 2600mAh battery, which is similar/ to budget lubluelu models, advertised at giving 90 minutes runtime.

220 mL water tank and a 300mL dust bin
4,500 Pa Suction
Carpet Suction Boost
2cm Obstacle Crossing
Voice Control (Siri, Alexa, and Google)
SoF LiDAR Laser Navigation

  • That’s crazy cheap

  • +5

Looks like a good deal, how does it compare to the Lubluelu?

  • +1

Worth giving a try at this price

  • +2

It doesn’t have the usual lidar ‘disc’ at the top. Does it have some different implementation?

    • It mentions SoF lidar but offers no explanation of what that is. I'm guessing it's maybe the big black section in the front bumper?

    • +3

It's like frontal LiDAR instead of 360 degrees. It won't be anywhere near as good.

  • The speed at which I pressed "Buy Now"

  • I saw this and read the reviews. apparently quality control is a bit of a hit and a miss. but the price is insane

  • Does it work with the xiaomi app

  • +1

Is it compatible with any empty station?

    • I’m also having same question. Following

  • What if I have a rug

    • I have a Lubluelu and it navigates my shag pile rug with ease.

      • Even if there’s a 1” height diff?

        • An inch might be stretching it. The loft on mine is about 15mm, but not that dense. You can always set the rug as a "no go area" if it is too high.

          • @ash2000: I'm not sure you understood his poorly worded question. If he has a rug, it will not mop there. It will only do it if it's in vacuum only mode. It's not like it can lift the mop off the ground and vacuum.

this or Dreame D10s for $229?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/878530

    • Was just about to post that. Seems like an epic deal.

      • So D10s is worth the extra $87?

        • the Dreame brand is probably better Quality controlled. Mova is their cheaper sub-brand. Given the comments on QC, I might jump on the D10s instead once cashback is increased

        • very much so. Top mounted LIDAR on the d10s is far superior.

  • +2

I know it says it has LIDAR, but where is the LIDAR disc on top?

Usually devices that don't have this are lower end or older devices.

To be safe I'd go with the the D10s

Edit: it has front facing lidar, but this is for inferior to 360° lidar (disc on top of machine) that most modern machines have. Go for the D10s.

    • apparently its built into the black strip at the front

      • +1

yep, which means it has to manually rotate the whole machine to perform one 360° scan. The top mounted 360° lidar scans 100's of times a minute.

        • maybe why in one of the review video it keeps spinning once its moved!

Hmm this or the D10s or the D10 plus which has the dock - keep getting upsold!!!!

    • +2

Takes longer to scan, but without the scanner on top it’s only 7.6cm tall so it fits under more furniture.

      • +2

And you can put your cat on top (something that 360° Lidar no longer supports).

        • +1

@jesseeeeee I wonder if there is a weight limit 👀

  • Random question - how does the vacuuming capability of this compare to the $1000 Q Revo?

    • Careful… You might get random answer….

    • If you don't have 1000 dollars to spend, don't ask. If you do, buy both and let us know

  • How do i get the 5% off, doesnt seem to show for me?

    • Looks like they removed it now, have marked as expired.

  • This one seems to look similar to my D10s but costs less than 1/2 the price when I bought (now also on sale for $229, paid $349 8m ago sad face), with some bad reviews about this particular model. But should be good enough for the task?

Is it good idea to have a seperate one for the kitchen to avoid the kitchen dirt coming to the rest of the home?

The deal is still on without the 5% extra.

No LIDAR, means there needs to be light always. So forgot about night time automation

    • +1

The title literally has lidar in it

      • +1

My bad, thought it was similar dreame F9

        • +2

Its kind of the same, except it has a different name and its a different product.

  • +1

    Still $150, ordered one.
    Thanks

  • Noticed it still $150, purchased one with the 10%off amazon gift card(from card gift). Thank u!

  • Been keeping an eye on the many available these days. So cheap, but like the comments above my first thought was where is the LIDAR scanner though I see its front facing only.

Neato really didn't keep up with the market did they.. only recently realised that Vorkwerk (who historically charges premium prices anyway) has shut up shop on them.
My Botvac still going strong but I happened to check the cleaning map on October 21 and it didn't match, then realised they don't list the year and the last map it had was coincidentally exactly one year old. After a Google saw that Neato was no more.

  • +1

Deal is back.. can still add to the cart for $142.49

    • +1

      Thanks, updated.

You would be lucky to get more than 12-18 months out of this thing.

    • Based on?

      • -4

based on owning china a junk brand robot vacuum before.

        • -2

Is there a good non China made model? Love to know🙏🙏

        • This one?

    • Given you're paying around $8 a month for a robot vac/mop that lasts 18 months - what more do you want…….? Thats an actual bargain.

Also - Dreame offer a 2 year warranty. So, $7 a month now.

For $142… what do you expect?

  • +1

    5% discount is gone now

    • it's 8 bucks…

      • exactly

        • I would say if you don't have one, it's paid for itself in it's first 1-2 cleans. The lost value from not having one will far exceed the savings of waiting for a $8 discount

          • +1

@Jackson: i did get it already. i waited too long so i did miss out on the $8. i just wanted to let people know it changed. the price is still 149 tho

            • @iDeker: Nice, I think the issue is more that people see it expired and think it's not worth buying, rather than they are missing the $8
