Thanks OP. Was looking for some sort of airpods for my partner. This will do for under the tree.

    • +6

Cor, wish I was your partner.

  • Thank You!

  • +1

Awesome, was waiting for sub 300 for a while

  • +8

For those wondering the latest guess is the AirPods Pro 3 won't be out till Sep 2025. So still a safe buy

  • Thanks OP, bought one :D great deal!!

    • +1

No problem :) happy to bring the gifts of good deals

  • $260 with gift cards. Happy with that.

    • Which deal for gift cards?

  • 260 with GCards.. Thanks OP

    • No problem 👍

  • I'm thinking getting this for the hearing aid feature, but I'm using Android phone. Will they work on the Android phone?

    • I heard many key features will be missing in Android phones, like spatial audio. I do have an android phone.

      • +4

i'd call spatial audio a gimmick not a key feature. you miss out on lost device tracking.

    • I got the original airpod pros when I had a galaxy s10e and they were still the best true wireless headphones I ever used. The majority of controls you just click the airpod buttons, even now I have an iPhone I still don't use the all the features that are iPhone only.

That being said, I don't know if you can use the hearing aid feature on Android, that might be one of the iPhone only features.

      • oh yeah you can't change the controls without pairing with an apple device so you're stuck with the factory defaults unless you can use an apple having friend to set it up. wonder if you could go into an apple store and do it, they'd probably charge you $100 for it lol

      • I agree, I've switched to sony, sennheiser, a whole bunch, and the only ones that just worked were airpod pros. Which is kind of ironic given they aren't made for andriod. I had issues with all the other ones disconnecting, not pairing properly, etc.

    • They're Bluetooth earbuds, of course they'll work with Android. You're just unable to utilise all the features that they offer, though the default touch controls still work.

  • I just tried to get this price matched at Harvey Norman as I had some gift cards to use up but they declined saying it was "below market price". Didn't know they could do that, but I learnt something new today.

    • +8

harvey norman are normally such honest fellows

    • You learnt to shop elsewhere?

    • From the guy who believes in competition too. I'm gobsmacked.

  • Will Office Works price beat this?

    • +2

Yes. Went this morning to OW and managed to get these for $274.

      • Very good price.

    • yes.

    • +1

Yes I got mine just now at as well for $274

  • Amazon is ridiculous with shipping now. Says out of sock in my own town, but one over 1:30 away it shows as available.

  • +2

Grrr only bought these from Amazon two days back. Any way the price reduction can be claimed back?

    • Same with me from Officeworks. Wish there was a way to get reduced price

    • Amazon is easy m. They won’t let you price match but just return land re-buy. Doesn’t matter if they have been opened and used. Amazon Chat will suggest the same thing

      • +1

hmm, I have seen Amazon is charging for returns these days. They charged me $8 for postage for a pair of earphones that wanted to return.

        • +1

That's always been the case for non-fault returns like change of mind

          • @BargainCowboy: Oh ok. In my case, it was faulty. One of the IEMs was not working, Amazon still charged me for return.

            • +1

@vnamar: you selected the wrong option then

        • +3

select the correct option. If you are unsure click-through until the quoted returns fee, if it's chargeable go back and change your option until it's free

          • @ExtraSalt: Okay, will keep that in mind. Thank you ! Much appreciated.

    • +1

Buy em and return the new unopened pair for a refund.

  • Thanks, OP! Great deal with gift cards! Christmas present sorted for Mrs

  • What's everyone's thoughts on buying these from one of the many eBay listings for $150?

    • +4

      They are fakes

      • That’s right. eBay is flooded with “super copy” AirPods that will even be detected as original on an iPhone.

  • +3

I don’t get why people don’t buy this from Woolworths everyday market when they have the 35% CB offer? I did this and it ended up coming down to $221 after CB.

    • +1

Those are resells which means the warranty is lower because it started counting down at the time the reseller bought them. Also good luck with warranty claims

      • I already clarified this and they told me that you get 1 year from the time you purchase the product.

    • Not sure why but I can’t see any AirPods there

    • +1

Looks like it’s already been ozbargained, I can’t find AirPod pros on everyday marketplace?

  • Oos

  • Hey Everyone
Noob question- I must be doing something wrong.
I can see this price following the link above from the OP only when I look in my browser. When I log into Amazon to buy or switch to app to buy I’m sent to the AirPod 2 Pro landing page and this price doesn’t appear under ‘see all buying options’.
This has happened to me for other ozbargain Amazon specials. Not all.
    Any tips to circumvent appreciated.
    Thanks!
Edit - this was before OoS

    • +1

they're in stock depending on delivery location. (profanity) amazon won't deliver this to "regional" location bullshit again.

  • Seems to be gone for me. Back to $360

    • I think it’s worth double checking now. It went out of stock for a bit, but it seems to be back in stock for the moment. Seems like Amazon is actively trying to get stock in (not same/next day delivery though)

  • Still looks to be available from where I'm sitting for those above who are saying it's OoS (and still at deal price)…

  • Still see the price as 289

    • -2

Nice can pair this with Woolworths Everyday Extra for 10% off

      • +1

And with gift cards,WISH or Big W

      • +7

        Isn't Apple excluded?

Edit, just tried and code not working..

        No eligible items in cart

  • $260 with 10% off via gift card. Absolute steal! Thanks op

  • +6

Managed to get them $274 from OW this morning by showing Amazon deal

    • No judgements, but curious to know why you wouldn't buy from Amazon with the 10% off gift card deal from yesterday?

      • +3

because amazon won't deliver to half the country now

  • On my second pair after swapping out the first with Apple. When you pause - one of the earbuds will lose connection or cycle through the noise cancelling settings. Doesn't happen all the time but it is occurring with the second pair now. Never happened with the 1st gen pros. Buyer beware.

  • +1

I read on the Amazon reviews that you don't get the full 2-year warranty. Some people were reporting warranties of only 5 months as the warranty started when Amazon bulk purchased them :/

    • +2

      australian consumer law still applies

    • The reviews I just read stating that are from purchasers in Singapore.

  • Any one done TRS with amazon au sold product before? over 300 after adding let say a $15 USB-c cable.

    • +2

It should not be a problem. List both items in trs app and have them with you when you are doing the claim.

      • Thanks, got it with cashreward->Amazon GC->TRS (in few weeks)

  • Is this a great price or worth waiting for Black Friday / cyber Monday from Apple?

    • +2

With the additional 10% from Amazon gift card, the likelihood we'll see cheaper prices from Apple I'd say is really low

  • the macxfixit open box deal was sooo good at $198, really love my pro 2

  • dam i think this deal has expired

    • Expired I guess as well.

      • I think it’s worth double checking now. It went out of stock for a bit, but it seems to be back in stock for the moment. Seems like Amazon is actively trying to get stock in (not same/next day delivery though)

  • +1

    OOS now.

  • Bummer, was just going through checkout to grab the gift card first before ordering

  • I'd be all over these if I didn't pre-order the AirPods 4 with ANC for $238.40.

Just a random question, I'm not a huge fan of the sealed ears sensation with IEM's, also hearing my own heart beat, 'microphonics', and other external bump noises that seem to be amplified for me, does the ANC help cancel these out or does it only work on external sounds?

Sometimes the AirPods 4 fall out of my ears when working out, otherwise super happy with them, so may consider replacing them with an IEM variant when they eventually die.

    • In my experience ANC mostly only works on external noise. Microphonics etc. still are there and if anything it’s a bit worse because anc acts up when the microphone area gets rubbed or there’s lots of wind.

Tho the AirPods Pro 2 stays so much better than the AirPods 4, and the ANC stays better I think. The AirPods 4 ANC sometimes goes wonky when it’s not seated in my ear properly but your experience may differ

    • How did you get the ANC for that price?

  • Thanks OP. Thought I missed out but snagged it now.

    • No problem 😁

  • +2

    OOS again

    • showing as in stock but up to $319 for me sold by amazon au still

  • +1

Bought the GC and missed it :(

  • Damn bought gc and took too long now oos. Snooze u looze

  • +2

Looks like the price has changed from my point of view as well…
But we could potentially get these for $255 from OW next week.
Get OW to price beat the Big W price then use the 10% off from the GC that Coles will have next week.

    Just a thought 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Legenddddddd. Got it for 260 <3

  • Why there are some of these that are very cheap on ebay, what is the catch?
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/205073004654

    • Same as Gumtree… Lots of fake ones I reckon too risky to test

      • yes… that's what I thought too, too risky to try

    • Can be hard to tell if genuine or not as iPhone can detect fake ones as real as the fake ones can copy chipset from original. Boxes can also reuse genuine serial numbers. Best to buy from authorised sellers or sellers that allows returns like Amazon. No returns on ebay and definitely Gumtree should be non starters

  • I have a JB Hi Fi direct link to purchase these for $289 if anyone wants it.

    • Hey mate I would love this if you have it- thank you!

    • Can I get the link too? thank you!

    • Please !
