Not deliverable to this address
I'm starting to see this more and more. Get stuffed Amazon.
Not available for delivery to my address in Victoria for some reason
Amazon might have worked out that some items they loose money on after delivery to some areas, I definitely get my value out of Prime but am within 15km of Melb CBD so for delivery the courier probably has a full car and deliveries are probably reasonbayt close together
Same, tried two different addresses both within metro melb (east side). Not deliverable. What a crock. It's not even Prime next day delivery.
Same here, not even deliverable in Melb. Haven't had any other problems with items not deliverable.
Same here.
Sunshine coast Qld.Ok this is probably the first product I've experienced that can't be delivered to me in Perth. Very odd given it is shipped by Amazon.
Based on the Amazon reviews the ratchet feature often fails and the pin comes out, making these cutters useless.
I had the same issue with a similar pair I bought at Bunnings, but mine threw a pin within a few hours of use. I got a refund and couldn't buy another pair as they had all vanished from the shelf. I'm guessing it was a recall because there were plenty the day before when I bought mine.
I'm not worried about that, it has a 369 month warranty.
I had planned to spend the day gardening with my new ratchet cutters. Because they broke that day was wasted.
I want my tools to work, not just be easy to refund or replace.
How has life been post-failure? Must have been difficult moving on.
@cathole: Yes. Thoughts and prayers. 🎻
Friendly advice: Complain less and be more grateful, and your life will become better.
Contact the manufacturer to make a warranty claim.
Good luck with that
but mine threw a pin within a few hours of use.
I take it you pulled the pin on the tool afterwards?
Replace your secateurs and light duty loppers with Felco F-13. I started cane pruning with these in 2006. Still use the same pair. I couldn't count how many low quality secateurs and loppers my parents have discarded over the same period while doing lighter garden work.
Felco F-13 is over AU$ 100.
This is similarly priced, cordless and battery powered
