Seems like a great price- but can it be used in Australia? Any other problems may encounter?

Thanks!

    It's an S23 Ultra. Not a Samsung S23 Ultra.

It even says it isn't a Samsung in the listing: "Like most cheap phones on eBay, these phones are made in China and do not have a brand. The images provided by the manufacturer show simulated screen images. The specifications for memory, processor, and camera are provided by the manufacturer and may be overstated."

Translation: This isn't the phone we want to trick you into thinking it is, and this disclaimer is what we'll rely on when you tell us we didn't sell you a Samsung flagship phone for $200.

  • Looks pretty good. Loving the incell display.

  • It's fake. Check feedback and search for S23 https://www.ebay.com.au/fdbk/feedback_profile/dongtianxie?fi…

As a guide, you'd likely be looking at about $700 or more for a refurb. Anything below that can almost always be safely ignored.

Overseas phones are extra risky at the moment due to compatibility with our networks. Fake incell phones are more than likely to have this issue.

Then proceeds to post an eBay link. Well no shit. It's definitely not on Amazon.

"The specifications for memory, processor, and camera are provided by the manufacturer and may be overstated. The phone does display these specifications."

Why get this crap when you can buy a Motorola for less?

  • If you really have to ask this question, you shouldn't be buying things online.

96.2% feedback is rather low for eBay. Why don't you buy it and let us know how it goes.

On the other hand, rather good for a seller of "homage" phones.

Hey OP maybe ask Samsung if dongtianxie is an authorised reseller of Samsung products

  • s23 ultras

Good choice…backups will come in handy if you cop a fake one in the bunch.

  • I would be really interested in seeing a review of said S23 Ultras

  • I would love to see exactly what's inside this phone. Not enough to buy and test it, I don't have the money to waste on garbage, but maybe someone here does.

Based on a quick look at this phone's specs it looks okay, but the seller notes the stated specs may be fake. Either way, I assume this phone wouldn't be allowed on Australian networks.

Maybe it could be used to play Pokemon Go and Ingress via your working phone's WiFi, if this S23 Ultra phone has access to Google's Play Store. Maybe it would be okay for a child, you know, the one you don't like.

Steven He could use it in one of his videos. He could buy a bunch of different fake phones then send the worst of them to jesus.

There seems to be a few people testing S23 Ultra fake phones. It may not be not this exact phone, but I'll have a look later.

  • Fake AF. Likely to be banned off every Aus network the moment you slip a SIM card into it.

  • Good luck beggar

    ctrl+f

    "samsung"

no results in title, listing, description

    LOL

  • It's not a fake if they don't claim it's another brand.

They are pretty upfront about it.

Better paying $250 for it than being ripped off on FB Marketplace buying the same 'Samsung' phone for $500.
