A 15w spotlight for $145..best order 10 to light up my bonsai

Philips hue is always overpriced. Its quality is good though. Comparing to a generic product, they might be 20-30% better, but the price is like 200-300% more. So unless money is not an issue, I wouldn't go for it.

I have 26 of these across the garden front and back running for over 3 months now with no complaints and with 4 back up lights.. Two traditional switches which have been made smart with zigbee relays , connected to HA and work pretty well … I do not think they are actually 12w but it is adequate for garden lighting..There are no colour changing going on but I do not like the garden to look like a rainbow so I do not need that feature

May not work for everyone .. but 145 for a smart garden light seems too steep and 15w for a spot light in a garden seems a bit much given the ones I use are probably 8 to 10w and they light up well enough without it looking like Christmas in May celebrations. Of course quality outdoor transformers cost much more than the lights

Edit..I bought them at 80 a set ..looks like the prices have been jacked up for a dramatic decrease on Black Friday sales ..Even the sellers know the camel camel camel game now looks like :-D..but they are pretty well constructed and easy to put together with the supplied connectors..so there you go hope it helps someone

      $80 each?

You sure you don't have the normal Lily spot lights?

I have never seen the XL that cheap

      • No idea what Lily and XL means dude you seem to know a hell lot more than me about them .. shouldve shared your knowledge on here to help out others.. I paid 233.96 for 3 sets of the lights linked from Amazon orders ..so no not 80 each set ..a tad lower..that was in July this year

      • What are Lily spot lights and what is an XL ..have you been chasing these lights ..can you tell me a bit more..may be I got sold Lily and I shouldve got XL

      • when he says he has "26 of these" he means 26 of the lights in the link, not 26 of the Hue lights. But with zigbee relays, they're smart.

        • My bad, read the post wrong

Excellent deal - especially combined with the Amazon Cashreward (up to 25% max of which these only quality for 10% - I believe).

Hue is very expensive BUT the absolute best if you are willing to invest into their eco system… It just works.
