    Why Xbox though??

You can play games from the best modern generation of consoles (Xbox 360) rather than posting online begging for remasters.

      • Great console, but the games…

its all PC games any PC can do what an xbox can do.

@kungfuman: The Xbox hardware is cheaper and just works better sometimes. It's a tool designed specifically for the job. Quick resume and game boot times generally make it a lot snappier than a PC.

I do also game with a PC but prefer my Xbox a lot of the time.

@kungfuman: Xbox is much better than a PC for sharing your game's library. If my son want's to play a Steam game, I am shit out of luck if I want to use Steam as well.

            • -2

@sallan75: you do know you can do this on steam right? you can share any game with anyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uH1EhGahKDQ

              • @kungfuman: From Steams Family Sharing site:

I want to play my own games, but they're being played by another account. What do I do?
As the owner, you may always access and play your games at any time. If you decide to start playing when another user is already playing one of your games, he/she will see a message giving them five minutes to either purchase or quit out of the game.

            @kungfuman:

any PC can do what an xbox can do.

Yeah thats just not true at all.

@Duff5000: name one game that is not on a PC that is only on an Xbox series X. Xbox no longer has exclusives.

              • @kungfuman: You didn't just move the goalposts, you changed them completely.

                Nice work.

@Duff5000: read the post its all about the xbox series x why would I be talking bout any other xbox.?

                  • @kungfuman:

read the post its all about the xbox series x why would I be talking bout any other xbox.?

What on earth are you on about now? Nothing i said should lead you to think i was talking about any other xbox.

Your first claim was: "any PC can do what an xbox can do."

                    I said that was BS.

You then changed it to: "name one game that is not on a PC that is only on an Xbox series X. Xbox no longer has exclusives."

That's a completely different argument. How is that not obvious to you? Either you cant understand the implications of what you wrote or you cant express yourself properly. Either way, thats on you.

@Duff5000: "any PC can do what an xbox can do."

as I said in this statement I should have to specify which model because its a post about the xbox series X the whole thing is about that.

                      • @kungfuman: OMG really? you still think i am talking about models even though we just went over that i wasnt?

Do i really have to spell out why "any PC can do what an xbox can do." is false?

as I said in this statement I should have to specify which model

Try reading what you post. "i should have to"?

                        • -3

@Duff5000: yes really post is about xbox series X I will call it an xbox. simple.

Wow. How is this hard for you to understand?

Again, not once have i been correcting you on what version of xbox we are talking about. That was never my point and i have made it very clear each time you have tried to suggest it.

Go back and read my replies and see if you can work out what you missed. At no time was i correcting you on the use of 'xbox' over 'xbox series x', obviously we are talking about the latter.

          • @kungfuman: And that's all the Xbox team care about, Xbox is no longer just a physical box, which they don't make money on. Subscriptions and games sales, on PC and even via Sony, is where they make $$

            • -1

@SimAus007: exactly the full xbox live is on PC

            • @SimAus007: Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo make money selling games? Did you just realise thats been their console business model for decades?

          • @kungfuman: You can't play the games on your steam or GOG or Amazon Games on your Xbox console.

  • I no longer have the craving for this, might wait for the next iteration.
