Very good price for a well-reviewed charger. Bought it back when it first dropped to $139 and am very satisfied.

  • 20/10 ratings

  • This or the following anker? Both at approx price levels.

  • Any fast charging cable recommendations? I'm getting the 100w version of this.

    • The 200W version comes with its own 100W USB C cable, not sure about the 100W version. I would recommend using certified USB C cables for 100W just to be on the safe side.

      • Cheers. I'll check if this one comes with the cable.

  • hey all I was wondering if you all could help me so I'm looking at some green products and thinking of getting the following are these worth getting

  • Anyone have heating issues with this charger ? I have 100w and it absolutely works fine without heating. 200w is working fine but heats up a lot even without much of load.

    • It'll heat up under heavy load even at just 1x100W. As long as the heat is distributed more or less evenly across the surface of you charger brick, you should be fine. It will always generate heat under load (no matter how small) and that heat needs to be dissipated somehow through the surface of the charger.

You should be concerned if the charger only heats up in a tiny, concentrated spot, which can potentially lead to something melting/burning.

I suspect the charger heating up more at 2x100W may also be caused by whatever circuitry magic inside that prevents this particular charger from resetting when you plug/unplug less than 2 devices.

      • Thanks. Yes it's across the surface. Ugreen 100w brick doesn't heat up even when charging with 3 ports so got concerned if I received defective piece !!
