I regret buying long single bed and its very hard to find a mattress in that size

      If you contact coroner service and explain the issue, they might accept a return?
      More likely if you are prepared to but a different size but IM not sure if they even sell a king single which I assume would be what you are after?
      It’s worth a try at least.

        @adamshere: By way of follow up, the Indestruct Bed base is … I would say "over-engineered" if anything! All metal frame, really solid joints, no weak points that I can see, no squeaks (this after 5nights on it so maybe early days). I can imagine this thing outlasting me!
        
        Mattress is also great - probably is a bit on the firm side (waiting on the soft foam for my wife's side to see if that helps).
        
        Overall very happy so far.

  I looked into all of these … SD sold me on the ability to customise the firmness not only on each side but in zones … and to be honest I haven't read a bad review.

  I previously had a macoda mattress, and replaced it with sleeping duck about 3 years ago.
  SD is a significant improvment for my taste. The firm Macoda was way too soft, the firm SD suits perfectly.
  
  Seems the black friday sales are pretty much the only time that the SD indestruct frames go on sale, been very tempted every year and will probably grab one next time.

Ive had a sleeping duck for 7 or so years.

Medium is pretty firm, had softer layers of foam inserts sent but it’s still firm af, if you’re a side sleeper you’ll have issues. It’s good if you just lay on your back, but so is the floor…

I ended up buying a mattress topper which is why I haven’t changed it (it also weighs a tonne)

You’ll definitely need to rotate it regularly. Indents formed and we’re relatively light 50-76kg.

    On the sleeping duck. The topper also has indents cause I stopped rotating it haha
