Price drop on EA Sports FC 25 physical copy on Amazon. Everything except for the Switch version is shipped by Amazon US and will arrive a day after Black Friday. So it might be better to hold until then for a better price unless you are in a hurry.

I stopped playing proper back in 15/16. I agree with everything you've said. Another thing is that the gameplay isn't improved at the rate it did from say 2008-2015. Yes you could argue how much you could possibly improve more, but when I played FC24 recently (PS+), I noticed that FPS were locked to 60fps, animations still jarring and abrupt, physical collisions and movement could be made much more realistic as well. Take WWE2k24 for example, animations are incredibly natural and realistic.
You're right and it's so disappointing.
I picked up FC24 for $20 or so a couple of months ago, I don't mind it but I only play manager mode.
Digital is only $50 right now

As someone who has played this game for years. Warning if you haven't purchased this edition yet. This is the worst state it has ever been, and the game has turned into the most pay-to-win version of itself.
My recommendation, avoid at all costs (even if it was free). Unless you play offline modes and love those. If you play FUT, it is not worth it.
