Was.. going to buy one.. blood cheap, compared to the competition.. pretty much the highest power rated SFX psu..

then read the reviews.., issues with thermal stress, overheating at high loads (120 degress) and poor power quality (lack of filters - no space ).. and high noise

the powersupply is simply too small and too densely packed with components —> increased heat.. and all the issues..
not to mention, these will be put in a small form factor case / high heat environment as well..

    Definitely a do not buy!

I think the important thing to consider is it is a high wattage SFX PSU, If you're trying to stuff that much power in a small form factor you can't beat physics. Just like any component in a small form factor you need to consider how well you can dissipate that heat. It wont be suitable for everyone but I think it's a bit unfair to write it off from those two reviews. I rates in A tier on Cultits, considered quiet under moderate loads, good quality components.

Loud and generally worse than a Revolt 850, Silverstone 850R or SF750.

(all 3 of which have high enough sustained OCP/OPP ~970w to handle 14900k + 4090 both overclocked.)

If you want a 1100w SFX unit for dual 4090 or something, either wait for the thermaltake atx 3.0 sfx units with improved fan curves, or go straight for SFX-L.
