[NSW] Pyrex, Corelle & Instant Pot Warehouse Sale up to 70% off e.g. PYREX Cook & Go 800ml for $11.99 @ The Venue Alexandria

340

I always miss these big pop up warehouse sales usually in The Venue @ Alexandria in Sydney, as they are never or rarely posted on Ozbargain as they are always removed due to no specific deals. Ozbargain should remove this requirement for The Venue as every warehouse sale I have been, it's always a steal! I posted this earlier on Wednesday but got removed as I didn't list deals (wasn't available then).

I can only find warehouse sales @ The Venue scattered across other social media platforms in stories or posts or by word of mouth. Every time I go it's seagull fest.

Huge discounts on a range of dinnerware, glass storage, kitchen appliances, bakeware, cookware, and more!

Here are some of the deals below - overinflated RRP but with the sale it's a bargain (some deals available online at the same sale price or some higher):

I prefer the older borosilicate formula which was nicer quality, but still a great brand.

PYREX Cook and Go 800ml - $11.99 (was $34.95)
PYREX Cook and Go 1.9L - $14.99 (was $45)
Pyrex 4 Piece Set - $16.99 (was $54.99)
Pyrex 6 Piece Set - $12.99 (was $62.99)
Pyrex 22 Piece Set - $49.99 (was $89.95)
Pyrex 28 Piece Set - $59.99 (was $149)
Pyrex 8 Cup Freshlock - $14.99 (was $24.95)

Instant Milk Frother - $29 (was $69) -
Instant Vortex Plus ClearCook Dual Air Fryer 8L - $149 (was $429)
Instant 12 Cup Drip Plus - $69 (was $139)
Instant Frother Station - $49 (was $129)
Instant Vortex Plus 5.7L White - $99.00 (was $299)
Instant Rice Cooker - $69 (was $169)
Instant Air Purifier Large - $129 (was $499)

Visions 5.5L Casserole - $69.99 (was $169.99)

TDE is also having their warehouse sale next door

Great for those who like customising their leather products with a monogram. I have owned TDE and the quality is great - customised cardholder lasted a few years of daily use. Their designs at the warehouse sale are not that great looking though imo.

Crossbody Bags - $40 to $60 (was $169)
Hobo bags - $120 (Was $349)
Overnight bags - $180 (was $499)
Messenger bags - $160 (was $339)

Monogramming is $20 for 2 characters and $30 for 4 characters

The warehouse sale finishes Sunday 17 Nov @ 4pm. Good luck as many of the stock has already been taken. They weren't checking tickets when I went.

    PYREX Cook and Go 800ml(instantbrands.com.au) - $11.99 (was $34.95)

Seriously, the RRP is $34? I mean I would not pay more than the $11.99. I hate the round Pyrex containers. All the lids crack over time(and replacement lids are just over priced) . I have a few of the Cook and go and they seem fine so far.

    Also just as a comparison
IKEA 365+ Food container with lid, square glass/plastic, 600 ml $3.50

    • Never had a cracked lid with my round Pyrex bowls. I like the round ones because I do pot in pot yogurt with my InstantPot and the round ones give me the best foot print.

      https://www.reddit.com/r/IKEA/comments/17aos83/just_how_inte…

Just for people to make some comparisons.

    • PYREX comes with 10 year warranty and I would consider them 'buy it for life quality' due to borosilicate glass (apart from the lids).

Pyrex's soda lime glass not as good and probably on par with the Ikea in quality.

Not sure about the IKEA food containers as they only mention 'heat resistant' glass but wouldn't be confident in considering as 'buy it for life quality' and don't want to deal with thermal shock issues down the track as have faced them before with other brands from the glass cracking and failing apart as I was lifting with the food inside it.

Agree the lids crack and are a rip off to replace.

If you want to give a heads up on a sale maybe mention it in the forums. I had a similar issue with a Crumpler sale where I had a heads up email but no details. I’d been to similar Crumpler sales previously and they were usually good. This one was good too. The trouble with having to wait for specifics before posting is the early birds to a sale usually get the best deals and the least crowds. I would rather take the chance than lose out.

  • With Pyrex they are often on sale with the Supermarkets. The 6 piece set is currently $15 with Big W. Also the Corelle DFO stores sell it.

  • Damn, wish this was in QLD. Corelle isn't easy to find and is incredibly good quality.

  • Is that for only one day? Has anyone recently being there, worth the trip? might be most things gone by now.

    • It was over a few days, but earlier post got removed.

Was plenty of stock when I went yesterday but they started hand writing some higher discounts for products not selling.

Today's the last day and only 2 hours left. They sometimes discount it further to clear things out.

Will go visit again soon to check it out.

Some people were getting trolleys full of stuff so might not last long, especially since I posted it here.

      • I'd be grateful if Could you please dm me the next time you see it bud. TIA!

  • Is this actually cheaper than the outlet stores or just a popup outlet?

    • +1

Cheaper. It's a popup outlet / warehouse sale.
