Not as cheap as this deal was, but sub $100 is still a great price. Been using mine for many months with no major complaints. Non-stick is a godsend.

Had one of these for a few months. Cooks well, but I hate the way it has a preheat mode that cannot be bypassed.
Why do you need to bypass preheating
Well indeed you can put the food in straight away not a problem, but the time doesn't start ticking down until it has reached temperature.
So let's say you're heating a pastry (croissant) that will take just 2 minutes on a normal machine. With this machine you set it for 2 minutes it won't actually start counting down the 2 minutes until after it is reached temperature. so the preheat will take 4 minutes and the cooking time 2 minutes by which time it is burnt!
Manual says the Reheat program doesn't do the preheat cycle so maybe try that out
The non stick is starting to come off and the tray inside is terrible design versus my mates Philips, basically if you try to pour anything out the whole tray falls on your plate! Oh and it stunk for the 1st 20 times I used it like burnt chemicals -
By any chance did you take away the silicone pads on each side of the tray that grip the side of the basket?
Considering all the issues mentioned above, what about this Devanti unit?

It is 7L capacity (allegedly) and about the same price.
Good things about this: The dial interface is great. The tray size is good, the liter measurements of other brands can be a bit misleading because you want to spread everything out not pack it in.
Bad things: Tray can fall out if you don't hold it in. Tray isn't symmetrical front to back and if you put it in the wrong way it scratches the corners. Wattage could be higher for a faster preheat.
Had one and was happy with it.
Potentially just consider that although 5.7L sounds like a lot of food, I actually found it to be too small for the 2 of us at home. Eg frozen chips - you not meant to actually pile them up you’re meant to spread them out evenly over the tray. So you could actually only cook 1/2 packet of frozen chips max. Then no room for other veggies or meat. But was happy with how it cooked, the interface, clean up was easy etc.
Instant… this is like calling the ozito silent shredder, silent.
Wow they cancelled my previous order for $69.50 (due to no stock) but now selling for $99…
