  • Hi OP, will you be getting more stock of the Marin Sausalito E2 or the likes?

    • +1

I don't see any inbound, which means none arriving in the next 6 weeks.

  • Hi @PingPongChum

Do you know when this price ends? I need to convey with the wife 😂

    • +1

I don't see an end date, so it's likely to stay up till at least the 29th (if we dont sell out before)
To be safe I'd get your order in early next week.

  • 15.2kg… That's kinda heavy.

    • It's not the lightest it's not the heaviest. Not bad for a dual suspension 29er. Canyon Spectral 6 is 16.63KG.

  • +2

I bought one of these a few years ago, but have upgraded much of it.

    • The 12 speed was immediatly swapped to 11speed (I already had the parts, then sold off the 12speed).
    • I found the Fox34 to be a bit flexi (I weigh ~95kg) and swapped them to 160mm Fox36, and then to 160mm Durolux 38 (so good!).
    • The Tektro Orion brakes should be decent, but never seemed to have the bite of a good set of Shimano's and seemed to glaze easily, so they got swapped to SLX w/203mm rotors
    • The Vee tires are decent, but season specific, a bit too loose in the dry. The Schwalbe Hans Dampf are the better imho.
    • Origianlly on a Large I transferred everything to a XL frame I got from FB marketplace (I'm in the height overlap of L and XL)

Great bike for the price, and none of the upgrades are required, but could be considered if parts break/wear out.

    • How tall are you? I'm 186cm, pretty much the same, in between an L and an XL. I didn't want the XL to feel too big though.

      • +1

I think 185cm. I couldn't say what it was a preferred about the XL, but I got the XL for cheap on market place and when I rode that, it felt more comfortable over a longer ride.
