Had no tissues, 1 kid sick, 1 kid recovering from surgery, 1 kid a baby, work late etc
It was a moment of weakness
        Forgive me please!!

At least now you have tissues to wipe your issues :)

I think you are scaring new couples not to have kids.

          • +1

@neonlight: What do you mean! New couples, what a dream that was, imagine having 1 kid. Highly recommend kids, truly amazing experience and life changing event.
Three the max for us tho. Real concerned who is purposefully going for 4+ these days,
            A) must earn a packet
            B) dunno how you mentally can handle that

            • @original15: Cost of living mate and also uncertainty around so many things. Lack of freedom and of course so much time and energy spent on them not sure what will happen when they grow up.

Anyhow when you mention sick, surgery, working late is like a horror story whilist still shopping for cheaper tissues…

    • Coles has the similar one for $1.40

  • Thanks I ordered 2 boxes

Quilton quality gone down hill since post COVID rush/peak imo

Their Aloe variety is closer to Kleenex/Sorbet 'regular' tissues

    • +1

Totally agree with this, I feel the same for the toilet paper as well, quality has just gone to shits. What is the next Ozb alternative!!!?

    • What's the replacement for the same price point is the question

  • Just bought yesterday for $21.
    Thanks op

I'm avoiding these. Annoyed with the paper tabs that I have to remove from every box i open.
I went back to the Aloe Vera version which still has the plastic tabs.
Can't stand the sound grinding like sandpaper every time I take the tissue out.

Can someone confirm it's still the paper tabs or have they gone back to plastic again?

    • Totally agree as per my comment below.

Used to be my fav tissues. I avoid them at all cost now.

    • Paper tabs still as of a week or so ago. Also the tissues separate way too easily and I always end up with a one ply tissue.

  • Bought 7 times before suddenly cannot delivered anymore.

    • +6

Yep. I cancelled my prime membership as almost everything can’t be delivered anymore which used to be fine about 9 to 12 months ago.

At least they've got something right. If you use these tissue to wipe away your make up, youll probably have to wipe away some tears too, given how rough, hard and stiff they are.

These Quilton tissue variant has really gone down the drain. I'll never buy it. 2 key reasons.

Paper flaps sucks. Tissues are never held in place and keep falling back into the box.

Tissue quality has really deteriorated. Really rough and stiff now.

    Don't buy it.

    • What's the alternative? Sorbent extra thick?

      • Anything but this. Even the 2ply aldi one was equivalent to this in terms of overall experience… and even cheaper.

  • no option to buy in Central Queensland

  • Thanks Op. ordered 2 boxes

Yep. The paper flaps are shit. If you push them too far in then you have to grope the inside of the tissue box to peel one out. And now instead of printing the nice full colour patterns that don't look like ass, there's one stripey pattern that looks like shit slowly taking over. First there were 3 of them in a box of 12, then 4, now this order I received yesterday 8 of 12 were this lame-ass stripe pattern.

May as well go back to 99c woolies tissues at this point.

  • No go for rural Vic

    • We country peasants never seem to get the Quilton specials.

      • I have bought them in the past but lately a few deals can't be bought.

  • ISP, I'll be your 101st up vote! 😅

  • Any different to the Quilton 3 Ply Aloe Vera Facial tissues?

I have the Quilton 3 Ply Aloe Vera Facial tissues on S&S $18.48.

    • aloe is better, helps not to tear your nose apart when used frequently.

      • I would have thought they would be similar or the same.
The Aloe 3ply isn’t as soft as I remember it years ago.

  • +1

Unless you live in regional Australia then for some reason it can’t be delivered.

  • OMG, just bought it two days ago —- what wrong I did, mate?!
