Try secondhand on marketplace or similar. Look for something that was top tier 4-5 years ago. You'd probably get a fast ryzen, 2080ti and good ram with that budget.* Enjoy your 500fps playing valorant.

$998 but comes with a $120US steam gift card (to buy some games to play). And generally newer/better components than some of the cheaper deals we've seen.
But despite the level of marketing we've seen already, it's not black friday yet. That's Nov 29th, with Cyber Monday being Dec 2nd. IMO that'd be the time to wait for, particularly with new GPUs coming in early 2025 we'll hopefully start seeing some proper clearances of stock.
At that price, just play on console …
I already have a console that’s why I don’t want to spend too much just need something for Valorant as that game isn’t optimal for a console
If it aint optimal for a console, it won't be optimal for a $800 PC (the consoles have the grunt of about 1.2 - 1.5x their value)
When I say it isn’t optimal I mean it’s a game that needs a mouse and keyboard due to how important responsiveness and input lag is in a game like valorant. It is not graphically demanding that I would need a 4090 rig to play the game
Why not wait till Black Friday before you start looking or asking for Black Friday deals?
