That's a fair chunk more than the X3. For someone just jumping into the 360 camera game the X3 seems like a pretty good buy at this price…
What are the main differences between the 2?

Insta360 x4 available for $672.30 at an Anaconda store. How? JB HiFi currently on-sale for $747. Walk into an Anaconda store that has stock, and ask for price match/10% off, which brings it down to that price.
$449.1 with this and 10% Anaconda. Worth the difference?

Thanks OP. So very nearly bought the x4 in the listed deals but decided I'd save up instead for a replacement for my DJI Osmo Action in the future instead.
If you are a Jaycar member, this also can get you $20 of store credit because you get $10 credit per $200 spent.
Useful, as I bought the camera via click and collect and then bought their ultrasonic cleaner that was on special instore for $46 with the use of the credit.Thanks for this, went into Jaycar and asked if they could knock 10% off as otherwise I was going to drive down to Anaconda for the 10% price beat. No issues and got it for $450 plus will be able to claim TRS! Great deal!
Bugger, wish I'd thought of this! I bought mine at full price.
if you get an x3 make sure you put on lens guards before doing anything. One drop without them makes the lens (and therefore product) unusable.
