Seems like a good deal on a good spec laptop. Might consider this myself, hoping there is CB coming in the next few days.

this is a solid laptop for gaming and programming. it could be too heavy for some people. battery life might not be the best.

    • is this a better laptop? i did a compare they seem rather comparable. shame i missed the cashback………

      • Gen 9 slim is lighter, thinner and supposedly comes with 230w power adaptor vs 300w, has supposedly better battery due to the newer CPU.

Either way a 4070 does not need 300w power adaptor. I have a Gen 6 legion 7 pro with a 3080 and that thing draws just over 240w when I'm gaming and comes with a 300w adaptor.

From what ive read the 7i has alot of form factor improvements over the 5i.

    • Me too, that looks like a good one. Especially after cashback.

  • Feels strange that this is the exact same laptop I have (but with 16gb more ram), but I bought it well over a year ago for $2100 after cashback.

Its a great laptop, but you'd think it'd be a fair bit cheaper by now

  • How does this compare to the Dell G16? Anyone had any experience with the dell? - https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/cty/pdp/spd/g-series-16-7630…
