        Just an FYI when a deal is sold out or expired you should simply click the expire button, don't edit the deal title with SOLD OUT. The system will only recognise a deal as expired when that button is clicked, it does not look at the contents of the deal title.

    I jumped onto look at the reviews for this company, lets just say that they're…less than stellar.

    I'd be very cautious about purchasing from them if you're looking for any sort of customer support, care or service past purchase price.

    Obviously do your own investigations into this, as it's just my preliminary research but it set off a whole bunch of red flags to me which has made me reconsider buying anything from this particular seller.

      Reid's been around for a looong time and I've had a number of bikes from them in the past. They're fine. heck, my first post on ozbargain was Reid Bikes and subsequent first few posts was them giving out free stuff as well..e.g. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/196050

        I've had Reid bikes and found their after-sales service to be unhelpful. I had a buckled rim on one of my wheels and they told me that don't sell replacement rims. This is on a $2K+ bike that was 12 months old. Do not recommend.

      I’ve had 2 Reid bikes over the years and zero complaints. First one I gave away to my brother and I upgraded to a better model. My only issue is slightly bent handlebars from crashing into a traffic light pole, that was a fun time.

    Sad you are closing all physical points of presence. We bought a couple of bikes out of the Balcatta store.

    Although the battery went to the crapper on the ebike, what the ebike did was bring up the fitness level that we can enjoy a normal bike now without feeling the struggle.

    Recommend folks to get an ebike to ease into cycling, especially if you aren’t at all fit. Easy to taper off the assist.

      Yeah, I bought the first kids bike from there. But they closed before the second kids birthday, so he got a Trek.

      I wouldn't buy a bike from an online only place, particularly one that seems to be shutting down.

    Loving the quick responses and live updates from OP. I bought a Reid commuter in 2019 for $300 when I used to work in the city and it lasted four years before I had thrashed it too hard. I used to get a sense of satisfaction watching people whiz past me on fancy road bikes knowing they had spent 5x the money and were getting less valuable exercise!

    Gotta say a big shout out to the staff. I went in yesterday and it was rather hectic. Lots of customers, but staff needing to field everyone, while also doing safety checks on all the bikes that were being purchased. Staff were very helpful and cheerful, despite what was definitely a stressful situation.
