Inflatable Portable Ice Bath $20 (Was $39) - in-Store Only @ Kmart

130

Kmart has an inflatable portable ice bath on clearance for $20 (down from $39). Might be handy for recovery or cooling off, but at this price, I’m not sure how long it’ll hold up.

  • In-store only. Limited stock.
  • Use “Find in store” to check availability.

Could be worth a shot if you’re looking for something budget-friendly, but don’t expect pro-level quality.

Customer Reviews Summary (4/5 from 9 reviews): [ChatGPT Summary from Kmart reviews]

Users find it good value for the price, easy to set up, and comfortable for taller people. However, it doesn’t keep water cold for long, could be deeper, and lacks a cover. Some mention the manual inflator takes time.

he's thinking… I hope I'm not the "SUCCULENT CHINSE MEAL!!!!"

  • what are the health benefits of cold plunging ?

You lose a few inches at first then you gain it back later.

      This isn’t google

There is no conclusive studies that show long term benefits…thankfully, cause I don’t wanna do it lol

    • Don't know, but on a hot day, this will cool your balls down.

    • Mentally, it helps rich people think they are facing struggle and hardship in life.

      • Once you are in the icy water you quickly forget about all the bullsh*t you hold in your head for sure. Rich or poor you just feel the cold. Once you're through the 2 (or longer) minutes you feel great and can tell yourself that was probably the hardest thing you'll do all day ;-)

Picture has to be photoshopped or he is very flexible.

Might be handy to keep drinks cold for a party.

I was thinking the same, cheap and easy eski alternative?

    • Doubt it would last long for that. Very thin single wall.

    • I also thought the same thing as soon as I saw this.

Don't forget to check the fencing regulations with your local council.

    • yeah right lol

    • 72cm(Dia) Fits inside shower enclosure

  • One size fits some.
Probably too small for the average OzBargainer.

  • Can it be used for hot water instead? ie: japanese soak tub

  • ChatGPT summary: "comfortable for taller people…"

    • +1

Is that because only your legs will be cold?

    • Probably because one reviewer mentioned comfortable for a 190cm guy

    Kmart has become Ali Express.

    • Same factories

      • Same goes for Amazon

        • What goes?

    • AliMart

  • Good for a hangover.

  • Podcast bro's unite!

  • Told the wife. The look said it all. I'm getting one lol.
Thinking it can be perfect to keep all the kids balls in when not playing with them.

Because not using it as ice bath. Back in the day in the army in Sweden we went onto a lake. Cut hole in the ice and jumped in. Had to have a rope around our waist because of current underneath and wouldn't be nice to be dragged under. Must say awful when jumping in but quite refreshing after a few seconds when ease into the feeling. If I was getting one probably use an old chest freezer and build one.

    • Beer cooler…

      • Yep that's it. No way to use this. Hassle to get ice in it and to keep it cool.
One of those purchases to use once and then throw away as holes in it after the weight and after trying to crawl out of it. Like all other inflatable Kmart items.

have a similar product - would not recommend.
For it to get cold, you need a heap of ice, a couple of times i went to the servo to get bags of ice but it is so tedious. Would fill up ice trays and it wouldnt get that cold.
too expensive and tedious in the long run

    • +1

Agreed, they don't get cold. Ice will feel cool where it floats to the top, but simply cannot cool such a volume of water.

    • Get shaved ice from the fish market. That cools it faster and probably cheaper. Speaking of personal experience ;-)

  • Oh so not that type of ice …

    • Think people would be lining up to get one.

    • You're thinking of Disney on ice ;-)

  • Product size: 73cm (H) x 72cm (Dia.) (Inflated)

I wonder how much piss itll keep cold? Will it float beside a boat in the ocean?
