  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Not sure if it's worth risking not going for an original ZSUS

    • +11

Can we have a ZSUS mum?
No we already have a SFZ at home.

Thanks Clear. Any deals on a 400hz+ 30inch+ QD-OLED portable monitor in the sub $50 range? Cheers.

  • +1

Bought one. Hopefully don’t regret not buying a ZSUS.

  • +2

What do people use these for

    • I also would like to know

      • +3

If i didnt already have a tablet. Id use my samsung dex + this as a replacement laptop

        • How is Dex's support for the "touch" of these touch screen?

      • +9

I'm pretty sure for viewing things they have connected it to.

But I might be mistaken, and they could just use them for frisbees.

    • If in ould use a pen with this I'd totally have on my desk to mark PDFs at work

      • +3

I bought an xp-pen for this use case and love it. It’s a 14inch display mounted below my main monitor. Main use case has actual key been digital whiteboarding in MS Teams meetings using a pen that works great. And Onenote mad scribbles.

It's not like the deal says or anything :P

    • +3

Wait, people have a use for these? I've been buying them to wallpaper my house

      • +3

I've been buying wallpaper to use as screens.
        Probably your way is better.

      • +2

It's a bit on the expensive side, but probably cheaper than fancy light panels

    • +4

      Connected to my nvr.

    • +1

Second monitor in meeting rooms at work so all the zoom stuff is on one display and what I want to share on the other

    • +4

You're asking what people use a monitor for?

      • Username checks out. Helpful.

    • +2

      secondary monitors placed underneath ultrawide

      • That's a great idea!

    • I use them for uni exams, allows me to have double the screen real-estate, which really helps for the open book exams in Law. I also use them when working on assignments at uni or out and about.

  • would this make a decent digital photo frame? any ideas how to get Google photos integration?

    • It probably would make a good frame. You could just connect a Chromecast to it, that'll have Google Photos. You'd have to tuck all the cables and stuff behind it, could get messy compared to a real frame with software built in.

"MagicMirror and GooglePhotos module" with a Pi, from this article.

Personally, if there was a cheaper option without touchscreen that would be more ideal. I would also look at the aspect ratio of your pics, 4:3 would eliminate black bars. A matte coating would be nice but is preferential and possible to DIY with the right film I would guess. I haven't researched any of the above, just suggestions.

How would this compare with the similar priced Zsus?
Does zsus have a good rep or are these all junk?
Are they any good for programming, productivity?

An extra screen for working on the road could be handy

    • +1

I have a genuine ZSUS unit 🤣 and that gets used frequently. I purchased it as a second screen for my 14" Lenovo and they work well together although the PD pass through is not enough to charge to the laptop so I use a dedicated USB C charger straight to the laptop and then USB C thunderbolt cable to power and display the second screen

  • Can the screen work for short periods (say, 1-2 hrs) connected only to the laptop via a macbook usb-c display output?

    • My genuine ZSUS works this way on a Lenovo, but is locked to minimum brightness when powered from the laptop.

      • Makes me wonder what happens if you connect the extra cable to the laptop. More brightness?

      • My first ZSUS 14.5" had full brightness available through 1 USB C cable, the second one (dropped the first and cracked it), is unusably dim on just one USB C.

  • This looks great but a few buyers commenting on "fragility" (of the hinge, I think they mean).. I wonder if they all suffer from this or if others (ZSUS?) are tougher

  • will a stylus work with this ?

  • Max. 30 pcs/shopper

    • McFly won't have enough to cover their house.
