    Everything is possible. Just believe.

Economic: demand & supply. Supplier will drop the price in stage until clear, but buyers will snap them up before those who wait until price drop to some UN-believable value…competitive force @ play.

S22: UN-likely to drop lower because people will pay slightly more for Samsung brand & it's relative bang-for-buck features: processor, camera, screen, battery, software-support etc. $299 is distorted by the $200 discount that is NOT available to others.

Moto Edge 50 Neo: similar features as S22 but people buy it for ~ $100 less.

    I don't.

  • Can we even still get the $200 off code for the S22 and how to get that deal if you're not an Amayasim user?

  • I've looked at the Samsung edu store and they've already got their black Friday deals listed. CHEAPEST Galaxy S on there is the S24FE at $800-and something WITH a trade in

Hard to compare as its comparing apples with oranges. The Amaysim deal is for phone WITH Amaysim phone plan.

Black Friday sales could have sales on other handsets, other phone plans or both.

If you like Amaysim phone plan and network then worth giving the deal a go. I'm more interested in handsets without phone plans so I don't mind gambling to wait for Black Friday/Boxing day sales as there will be other models of phones being cleared and/or refurbished handset deals.

I currently own a Samsung S22 from a previous OzBargain Optus deal. Its an unbeatable phone at $299. Am keeping my S22 for another few years as Samsung guarantees security updates for at least another 2 years. I just finished my 24 months Optus mobile contract last month and switched to prepaid, Lebara 360 day 160GB prepaid plan for $97.

If you are into saving on the prepaid SIM side there have been heaps of deals being posted up on OzBargain last month and this month. Its a really competitive time to shop for prepaid deals. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/tag/prepaid-mobile-plan
