  • Probably the best price yet and nice colour for sure.
It's still a lot compared to the 39mm Panda I got. I always expect 30-50% off Seiko consider the RRP is so marked up. Just have to wait for the hype to die down.

    • Same, waiting for better price but this is likely the best price for now.

Watched a review of this watch last night and this sale came up this morning!
it was mentioned the lug width is 21mm so anyone likes to swap straps need to keep in mind :)

      • Yeah 21mm is dumb, I don't have big wrists so actually prefer the 39mm personally. Although the bigger one would still be doable.

Shame bloody Shiels don't have this price, and be able to use the $150 off voucher. $730 would be more reasonable and still wouldn't want to pay that much really.

        • I saw this one when I was in Watson's on the weekend. Even Mrs C commented that it looked pretty cool. I've already got a 39mm Speedtimer and I agree with G-rig that it's a nicer size, even though I could comfortably wear a much bigger watch.

@G-rig - I see reference to these Sheils vouchers all the time. How are people getting them?

  • +1

Definitely my favourite non-limited Seiko of the last couple years, but not having had a chance to try any of the modern chronos on I still hesitate at this price. Particularly as I need to acquire an Arnie for my back2dagym arc.

I am sad the old green arnie tuna is not available anymore in retail

    • +2

Agree, not worth paying so much just for a different colour.
