Don’t the battery life on this is the worst 👎🏽

It’s a decent slimmer basic phone that supports current iOS + a few more years of iOS updates.

If the phone is indeed brand new/ unused - I understand that battery issues are covered by apple warranty from date of its activation, particularly as well If it drops rapidly and dips under 80% within 2 years (ACL).

Agree. The SE2022 is great value because it feels very snappy and the size is excellent for those of us who prefer smaller phones. But the battery is awful.

Also new SE should be coming out next year and is expected to be a huge step up. I'd recommend waiting if you can.

      • Smaller iPhones are great!

Bought a brand new iPhone 13mini 256 in 2023 - does all of care to do with it and performs great 👍 battery is still in the upper 80%. I see no reason to upgrade.

Hopefully the new SE supposedly coming next year is in a similar to at least the 13mini in form factor/ full screen/ performance.

But it's gonna cost way more than this.

@gadgetguy: It might be, but the option is good to have down the line.

        • +1

I hope it's the same size as the 13, the minis are far too small. There's a reason why Apple stopped selling them, no one was buying them.

          • @ldd-mn:

the minis are far too small.

That’s the point of it’s appeal to some of us. (relatively not many).

Easily Pocketable (and disappears) with minimal smuggling look/ bulging in pants (one is enough) that the bigger phones tends to do.

          • +3

            @ldd-mn: Didn't know I was no one

          • @ldd-mn: Nah, it will be iphone 13/14 size

      • +1

Leaks say based on 13/14 form so will be bigger unfortunately.

This one from them comes to
    $484. What’s the difference?

    • Guessing gray import as only sellers warranty

      • I bought one as a spare phone recently $484 and they sent me brand new sealed AU version not grey import, the model number is AU and warranty shows coverage for exactly 1 year from the date I activated the phone.

        • they send u a tax invoice?

          • +1

@dekaiser: Tax invoice wasn't included with the delivery but you can request one by messaging them.

    • Just purchased. I couldn’t resist it at $484. I have my fingers crossed now.

    • This is OOS

    • ..That's an NVR?

    • Where?

  • +2

I'm into my second SE Iphone and never had any issues. It was clever marketing by Apple originally as many men in particular wanted a pocket sized phone and not a fashion symbol that sticks out of your back pocket.Trust me,in Europe you would be relieved of those phones in a heartbeat.

  • Looking for a budget iphone for all the iOS deals on OZB. Is this a good option to go for? Price seems to be good but just concerned about the battery life.

    • this + already 2 years old

  • This or Samsung S22 from the amaysim deal?

    • if are into emus, then S22 fo sho, the cheaper option is oos now, so only the op listing still available. They took too long to respond to me so didn't end up buying.

supposedly that has ass battery life too

  • why
