Found a decent price online and ask JB to price matched it.

Secure you world with a discontinued security product. Seems like a legit oxymoron
This one still works. Strangely enough this bridge hub was only on the market for a year or so. Short lived for sure.
The new Yale hub 2 added BLE/Zigbee support as they're selling sensors in addition to locks now.
But the problem is that in most cases you don't need a bridge with Yale lock at all.
Does it only connect to yale stuff?
Yup, it's proprietary. Not a universal Zigbee bridge like Hue hub.
This newer gen bridge is a bit better that works with multiple Yale locks. Their old bridge was a total rip-off as each bridge only works with one lock.
The only thing I can think of to use a bridge with Yale lock is to set passcodes remotely. Almost all other remote features can be done with Apple Home (if Apple Home/Yale Home module is used).
You need the hub if you want to use their ‘dual door’ functionality - unlock screen door and the door behind it unlocks.
Also achievable via an automation in HomeKit / Home Assistant I guess.
But if you have multiple Yale locks, the home hub 2 will save you needing a hub for each lock, which you may otherwise need.
That's very true. I was considering adding the Yale Unity for screen door but just seem to be a very expensive decision with little return.
@xmagic: $300 for the lock and $100 for the hub…to never have to carry keys.
Being that we already had a Unity on the front door, and just purchased a screen door, it kinda made sense to get the same locks on both..
@NinjaChicken: Sorry I mean I rarely see anyone lock the screen door… I thought the outer lock was just there as a decoration 😂
@xmagic: Ahh yes.
But now I can not lock it from my phone also 😂
Has anyone installed a McGrath lock??
I have one. It's just rebadged Chinese product…. Duh! 😂I bought a McGrath one first because I got some good advice from the Australian reseller which was invaluable for my special fitments requirement and as such for me worth the price at the time but when it stopped working it took so long to get the warranty replacement I ordered the same model off AliExpress for a quarter of the price which arrived sooner than the replacement. Besides the one issue it's worked well for the family and I. No more keys, self locks, can add temporary access for guests, workers etc.. Have the Bluetooth/WiFi gateway (again a small proportion of the cost off Aliexpress) which adds some functionality… That I'm not really using 😊
Which model did you buy?
MLA231 and its equivalent on AliExpress from ZHDCOOKEY Official Store
Oh also forgot to mention that there's also some basic integration with Home Assistant too.
The model at Terry’s is the Yale Connect Plus 2(SKU: STK YAR/SWAA/HUB/-I-D) - even though they say it’s the Connect Plus.
I haven’t seen that model at JB HiFi - don’t know if they have the Plus 1 or 2.
But at this stage, you probably want to get the 2 if you have the choice.
I can also vouch for Terry’s - excellent service - and a great experience all round. I purchased direct from them:
After spotting that promo, I recently checked JB Hi-Fi and saw they only stock the Yale Connect Plus 1 (link here: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/yale-connect-plus-wi-fi-b…). Initially, I was comfortable managing the Yale Unity Security Screen Door Lock via Bluetooth on my phone. However, I had one of those moments when I thought, “Wouldn’t it be easier to automate it with HomeKit?” So, this deal caught my interest.
Looks like a shitting stool
Anyone know if these hubs will work with the OG Lockwood Zigbee modules from the TLock? https://www.liquidate-it.com.au/shop/p/lockwoodtlock
Looks like a sonos connect amp in disguise / undercover operation.
