Thanks I just got one, nice little gaming PC for the kids

    • +3

Actually ordered this for my mother in law.

Least that way when she's not around, I can put my son onto it :P

      • +5

Multipurpose multiuser Mini PC … :P

      • I heard your order was cancelled though?

  • +2

Thanks, Been checking these out for a few weeks and jumped on this one. Good deal.

  • +1

Thanks. Ordered. Missed out the one from Beelink last week.

    • +2

I prefer Beelink as a brand (own two), and felt like last week's must have been a typo it was so good

Must be clearing out old stock before new "AI" series arrive.

Ordered too. If others havent seen it, check out the General Mini PC guide for what games this type of performance can do

      https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SWqLJ6tGmYHzqGaa4RZs…

    • My order got cancelled. Did your order get through?

      • oh no, another price error? too good to be true at only $449

      • Oh no. Maybe you were too late to order and they couldn't allocate stock?
My order has shipped, money taken out, and is expected to arrive by 8pm today.

        • That doesnot make sense as the item is in stock now.

Can I message you as I want to raise this with Amazon, if you dont mind.

      • Mine got cancelled

  • +1

" It is designed for the most demanding work tasks: Large office tasks, High-end games, Photo editing, etc" 🧐
Edit: still seems like a very good deal and the 780M igpu sounds ok for light gaming.

  • +1

    Out of stock!!

  • Bugger, sold out

  • +4

This is way better than those 200-300 8th or 9th Gen i5 SFF business machines.

  • Too fast too furious, 20min ago and sold.

  • I missed it because I was buying Amazon vouchers on Shopback :(
Now I have the gift cards applied. And no Mini PC to buy double :(

    • +11

Always purchase first, you can apply gift card after the purchase :)

      • Amateur mistake. I knew the risks. Now to explain to the wife about why I bought so many gift cards. FML!

      • Really? Don't you have to pay at purchase time?

        • +17

Nope Amazon only deducts the money when it’s shipped, you can change payment methods and apply gift cards after placing the order

          • +1

            @Kazusa: Good to know, thanks

          • +7

            @Kazusa:

you can change payment methods and apply gift cards after placing the order

Applying gift cards to an existing order is no longer possible.

            https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/868756

Also, the option to change payment method in browser was removed. It can still be done in the app, but may soon disappear from there as well.

  • Has been OzBargained haha

  • Very interested but can't find much info about this brand, other than a reddit comment that says they're rebadged beelinks.
Is anyone else concerned these mini-PCs could be malware infected at BIOS level?
Or would a fresh OS install and malwarebytes scan be enough to 100% fix it?

Edit: OOS after I commented, lol

    • +4

      Always reinstall IMO

    • Lot's of people mention this concern of a hypothetical bios / chip level vulnerability, usually based on general lack of trust for China, but I haven't seen anything substantiating the concern.

  • +1

    OOS

  • Noooooo. I missed it

  • +2

Would make a pretty awesome retro box.

  • Damn miss this again!

  • Got one, thanks :)

    • Did yours go through? Mine was cancelled

  • +3

I've been looking out for a good lil pc for zwift for the last month or so, and I always come across these good deals just a few minutes too late :( oh well I expect more will come around for Black Friday Sales

    • I think so too. They'd definitely want to clear stock to make room for new CPU's

  • Surely they’re losing money on these right? The BOM is surely higher than 449-gst-Amazon fees

    • +1

They need to clear out older stock to make room for the incoming AI 365 and 370 models.

      • +1

that will be everyone wants, gaming performance will be so damn good!

  • +1

Damn, would have been decent. CPU is better than the 5800X in my main desktop!

  • +1

thats a good deal with usb4 in it.

  • Nice one OP

  • Seems to be a few different coupon deals / 20% available on bosgame pc's at amazon but I have no idea if any of them are deals?

  • This is an absurd amount of computing power for the money. Wow.

  • Pretty sure this is a price error but I'll give it a go :)

    • +1

If it's fulfilled by Amazon and in-stock when you order, it will go through :)
As with my experience from last week's Beelink SER 8 deal - which I'm typing this reply from now xD

      • Holy smokes that's a killer deal! Glad I hopped on this one early

      • I got in on this - great deal and no issues with WiFi + Bluetooth from me.

  • I have bought another one which has 16GB ram and somehow Windows showing 16GB installed but 12GB available, anyone knows why? Ryzen 5 6600H + 16GB ram

    • +1

      Memory reserved for the gpu?

  • this or apple m4 mac mini?

    • If you already want a Mac and want this puck sized form factor, then the M4 mini is a no brainer.

    • If you can bear with Mac OS, then go with Apple.

    • This one for gaming, almost anything else M4 mini.

      • +2

This one is also almost half the price, twice the RAM, four times the storage. I assume the M4 processor would be better, but the 7940HS is insanely good for a $450 machine.

IMO the Mac only makes sense if you like MacOS. And I guess the Mac is also available for purchase and this deal ended almost straight away.

        • +1

To each their own. If you’re only looking at specs, this might seem like a good deal (it is). But if you want a computer that’s nearly silent (this one is no where near as silent), runs cool, and lasts year after year without various issues known to these mini pcs, a Mac is still hard to beat. I do agree you need to be comfortable with MacOS.

  • While i love it's form factor, but man…that power adapter is huge.

Is there a USBC to DC adapter that works with this? If yes, will 65W power charger is enough to run this mini pc.

  • Don't worry gents, they only have 3 to sell, so very limited.

    • Where can you see the stock level? Or exactly how many sold?

  • Fingers cross for good deals on BFCM or Christmas

  • +1

JESUS CHRIST !!!!! missed this deal again.

    • -3

      Mine was cancelled

  • How often are these coupons usually available without prime? I have prime but I'm still curious if anyone knows.

  • Back in stock at 1199

  • This wasn’t a pricing error? 32GB of DDR5 and a cheap 1TB SSD are ~$200, add on a top-of-the-line last-gen chip and it would still be a great deal at $600.

    • Probably a price error, maybe they were trying to jack to 1199 first and then add the coupon, but messed up the order.

  • Would this be an equivalent intel option?
    https://amzn.asia/d/imCOAD1
Is the Iris XE and 780m comparable?

    Currently $820 - $164(coupon) = $656

    • +1

Doubt it. Intel graphics don’t come anywhere near AMd integrated. A cheap GPu would be comparable though

  • Sounds like a really good deal that I just missed! However I'm wondering what do you guys typically do with it - just playing games? I have a desktop PC which is very quiet and still powerful enough to run most games. It has three OSs installed: Windows, Ubuntu, and Proxmox. Just thinking whether I should get a dedicated mini PC for one of these OSs?

  • Dam
    Keep missing out on these

  • Looks like a good cheap option for photo editing. Next time …

    • +1

Different seller, but yes same product.
No feedback for that seller yet… So proceed with caution

    • Seller "Grunafilm" just launched. Potentially a scam.

    • 100% is a scam, been seeing the same list of products by different names so called newly launched sellers for the past 2 weeks, I tried to ask question and got 'we cannot deliver your message' error back, if someone got the guts to test these out, please let us know.

    • That seller even sells Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra's for $599 haha. I do not believe it for a second.

  • damn, just noticed it doesnt support 2.5" drives… hmmmmm

  • +1

Mine arrived at around 6pm yesterday - specs as advertised.

    Win11 preinstalled.
SSD is a Kingston OM8PGP41024N-A0 - not great as far as PCIe gen4 nvme's go, but also not the worst.
There is around 6GB of the 32GB ram being reserved for the GPU by default - this can be changed in the BIOS depending on your needs.

    • Did you do a fresh install of Win11?

Mine has arrived as well, but idk if I need/should do a fresh install of Windows.

      • +2

I think it's best practice to fresh install whenever you get any device with an OS installed on it. Even phones.

      • +1

Yeh always best practice to wipe and do a fresh install.
I used the preinstalled Win11 (without network) to confirm specs, then wiped and install Ubuntu Server.
Mine is going to purely run as a docker box.

    • Mine arrived yesterday too. Very happy with the emulation performance. Do you find the Wi-fi a bit hit and miss?

      • Can't really comment on the wifi performance as I'm using the 2.5Gb NICs.
But also even if I was using wifi my AP is about 1m away from the box, so I can't imagine I would personally have any issues there.

    • Do you have a chance to test if the HDMI port supports 4K@144hz?

      • I haven't tested that, but the listing on Amazon says it's HDMI 2.0, so it would be 4k@60 max
The displayport and USB-C ports should be able to do 4k@144 though

        • Really happy with the performance. Reinstalled windows11.

How did you guys get the speaker in mini pc working? Not a big deal but dont want to install anything other than from recognised source.

  • any recommendations for a 4TB SSD to use as a secondary drive?
