    @TaurusHead

Compared to the Corsair kit, this can run at 2666Mhz @ CL19-19-19-43

Ahh that's very nice of you, however, I may have missed mentioning that I need it for a tiny PC (Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro)

    • how does it compare to PVS464G360C8K 64GB (2x32GB) 3600MHz PC4-28800 https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08688GFPD $174

Viper Steel is the good stuff. I managed to get some of the older stock running 3800MHz CL14.

I got the PVS416G440C9K kits ages ago, had it going at 3800mhz C14 (AM4 Infinity Fabric), was some beasty ram.

  • Thanks Look Up!

I have a build from techfast: with the Motherboard

    Motherboard: AMD A520 [M-ATX] Motherboard
    Serial: AA52JM4S-01_60000B43501202

Will this work with it? Some info I've found say it maxes at 32gb.

Where is the info that you found saying it only supports 32GB, and what is the actual model of your motherboard? A520 is not very specific, and it's probably not AMD as motherboards are usually produced by companies like MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, etc. I don't think AMD and Intel sell motherboards.

  • Would this work in a quad set up with two 16gb ram sticks?

    • +1

Yes, though you may suffer degraded/sub-optimal performance depending on the speed and timings of the existing RAM

      • thanks, it is the viper steel too but 16gb sticks rather than 32gb. I might just buy the 2x16gb kit

  • These or the Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB that got posted yesterday? Or same same?

    • Should be mostly the same, going off the clock timings etc.
I grabbed these ones, saved 5 bucks and hopefully will fluke the nicer timings.

  • bought a set. probably won't open just yet, in case it is significantly reduced during the BFCM sale.

Guys, if this comes w Hynix MJR/M die ddr4 don't buy this, it'll have 550ns something latency and i had issue w my patriot viper 3600 mhz kit w amd.

Never ever got it to work properly kept havinf errors despite feeling like it ran fine on my Intel cpu/mobo before i did a switch to my amd.

Though it was with my Asrock b550m steel legend which seems to be tbe biggest issue so maybe it's fine.

I'd much rather get the corsair tho that likely comes w something micron w 350ns.

  • These are significantly taller than the Corsair kit. Something to keep in mind if rocking a beasty air cooler.

  • If you're building a new system to take advantage of 64GB! then you'll probably want to use much faster DDR5 RAM.

  • shows 236.82 now, might be gone

  • Deal is over.
