Don't bother with Intel in 2025, much better off going AM5 with something like a R5 7500F or R7 7700.
Multi-threading performance is significantly better but you are in for an additional $400-$500 to also upgrade your RAM and motherboard.

I remember this being a good contender to like 5600x, 5700x even the 5800x. Now, Intel really messed up with their new naming scheme.
