This deal is most likely only available at Ampol Foodary service stations, but I have not tested this at an Ampol franchisee. There may not be any signage in-store regarding this deal, but you should ask the attendant whether their AmpolCash gift cards are discounted by 5%.

This should be stackable with any Ampol or service station cashback offers for in-store spending on applicable debit/credit cards. For those wondering, I purchased my AmpolCash gift card using a 7-Eleven digital gift card and a Category Choice Fuel gift card as payment methods.

For anyone unfamiliar with AmpolCash physical gift cards (and how they differ from AmpolCash Digital gift cards), please refer to the AmpolCash section of the Gift Card FAQ wiki page.

Offer terms and conditions

  • Offer is for 5% off AmpolCash physical gift cards (Card) purchased in participating stores only (excludes online purchases).
  • The Offer starts 12:01am 06/11/24 AEST and ends 11:59pm 03/12/24.
  • The Offer is applicable on denominations of $25, $50, $100, $250 and $500.
  • Customers are only eligible to redeem AmpolCash gift cards in exchange for fuel or in-store products after the purchase of promotional AmpolCash and it is not redeemable for cash.
  • AmpolCash physical gift cards expire on the last day of the month, as stated on the Card, or if no month is stated, 36 months after the date of the purchase of the Card. Any balance that remains after expiry will not be available to use.
  • AmpolCash physical gift card can be used at Ampol outlets where EFTPOS terminals are available and operational.
  • AmpolCash cannot be used to purchase other gift cards (including other AmpolCash cards), prepaid or post-paid phone or internet vouchers, transport tickets, mobile phones and accessories, Tolls payments, or lottery tickets.
  • AmpolCash physical gift card availability varies from retailer to retailer.

      From experience I would rather physical gift cards. On Android at least PassWallet has stopped updating for me and I have to track manually.

    i find it annoying you can't check balances on Ampol cash, particularly when i loose track myself.

      Yeah, the digital ones update with the new balance, but with these, you need to ask for a receipt to get the balance. Still, 5% off at $2 a litre is a great saving, especially if you can stack it with another discount.

        i find the digital cards in Shopback don't always update, I have 2 i'm sure i've used showing balance of $70 (partial use) and $100 (full value)

        NRMA members you can now stack 4 cents with Woolies 4cents
        at Ampol Foodary.
        Sign on counter at one I went to.

        Annoying but only @ select Ampols.

    A good bargain day. Am I mad ?

    $6 cashback from $100 7/11 Gift Card at Shopback online
    $5 off $100 Ampol card in-store using 7/11 card
    Filled $103.54 petrol, paid using $100 Ampol ($3.54 off using EDR)
    Activated 300QF BP offer and used the $5 leftover from the 7/11 card to pay for nearly 3l of BP fuel :)

    So $14.54 saving plus 300QFpts

        Yep…..and I also used the Amex offer for "Special" and got $20 back on a $200 Outdoor card which i used to pay for the Ampol card. Nearly 20% off instead of 15% :).

        The limitation is that the initial discounted goft cards can only be be bought in quantities of 1 or 2, so beggars cant be choosers.
